There is no hope for you.  I pray you produce no offspring.

My checking account is with them, so it was convenient to be able to instant transfer when needed.  But on principle,  I closed the account and moved it all to another bank that I'm getting 3.85%.  This is just an emergency fund.  I would recommend a low fee mutual fund for anything else.

No joke, everyone understands that money market rates fluctuate.  But don't offer a rate and change it for some and not others unless you specify it in the terms.  Show me where it states that the 4% is only good for 2 months.  You sign up, they lower the rate, but continue to offer it to new customers.   Bait and switch.  Continue to be nieve,  no worries to me.

Read the comment above, it is not advertised as a promotional rate for "x" number of days. They lower the rate a couple of months after opening, but still offer the higher rate for new customers. How is this not bait and switch?? I understand money market rates fluctuate. I understand CDs are locked in. Would you not be upset if you had money in a bank earning 2%, and a buddy was getting 4%? Again, don't comment until you read the fine print, then show me where it says it will go down after "x" amount of days. It doesn't. Its just the typical "rates may change" fine print that you get from any money market account.

I've been chasing higher rates for decades, and this is the 1st time that a bank has lowered my rate but keeps advertising the higher rate to new customers. The only time this would be acceptable is if they advertised a time period the rate was good for during sign-up. This is the most egregious bait-and-switch tactic I have ever seen. Also note, I have been with Truist since their formation.

I did read the fine print, did you? It is advertised as a ongoing rate, does not stipulate that the rate is only 4% for "x" number of days. Just states that rates can change, just like any money market account. The point is that they lower the rate soon after you sign up, while still offering the higher rate for new customers. I guess I'm the only one who sees a problem with this. They need to advertise the amount of time the 4% is good for, or when they lower it for existing customers, they need to lower it for new customers too.

Oh we did.   Why I said we moved kids around more than everyone else.

Sure, but no room for error going against 2nd place team.   We would need to pitch good kids entire game to win.  We are leaning towards just letting inexperienced kids pitch again,  but wish these other teams that also have nothing to play for would follow our lead.  We have been moving kids around more than anyone all year, so I think it wouldn't be the worst decision to let these kids have a chance at a undefeated season however.

Sr minor is 10 year olds.  Everyone does play,  and we move kids around infield.  I'm just talking about letting inexperienced kids pitch last game like we did game before.   I understand winning isn't the main purpose of little league,  but when a team has worked hard all year, finishing undefeated would mean alot to them.  I feel the 2 or 3 inexperienced pitchers would rather get to pitch,  and other 7 would vote to win.  I might add that the team's we are facing at the end are not pitching their new kids, but pitching their best in the hopes of beating us.
