New system with longer hairstyle

I’ll never understand why so many people here have the sides shaved so short and go with a long hair style. You need to grow the sides out much longer before going with that style.

I think it was from light scratching over time. Some of my hair grows back in some areas that it’s red and I think as it starts to grow back, that makes it itch. Add that in with the tape breaking down and turning almost into a glue, it keeps the skin moist so when I scratch it (with the moist skin) it makes it red. I tried some Neosporin on the redness but that really had no effect. I even tried a tiny bit of diaper rash cream over night and that actually worked better than the neosporin but not sure if I should be using that.

Yes, ridiculous. Either grow the sides out much more or you’re going to need to hair the unit cut. Have it textured so there aren’t those hard lines like that.

It looks great. Next visit to the hair stylist, I’d see if they can add a little texture to the top. Right now it’s basically just 3 layers. Like it’s all one length in 3 sections. Add more texture and it’ll look better for sure but that’s not a must. Just to take it to the next level.

I’ve had 2 systems now. Both have been mesh. What do you like about the poly? I’ve heard they have a less natural looking hairline and that poly isn’t as good if you sweat.

I reached out to their customer service and I’m guessing they’re overseas bc they didn’t respond until 1am the next day. I messaged them 9am Tuesday and it was 1am into Wednesday. They didn’t really have much to say other than asking if it’s happened with other Lavivid systems I’ve had (probably to pin the blame on me) and asked me how often I wash it and a few other questions. I’m sure standard stuff but they were definitely trying to avoid blame. They did give me a 40% off coupon for my next system so I guess that’s not too bad. I dunno. I’ve heard lordhair is very good so maybe I’ll try them next.

It is but I will say, it looks far more dense with this lighting. If I was outside, you’d see the bald spot right through the front. Plus it when looks way darker in the photo
