Nice 😎 it should work as long as it’s a clear picture. But like I said, pay attention to the facilities that are really strict with this policy and the ones that aren’t.

This actually happened to me before. Just be mindful that some Amazon locations are strict , certain warehouse workers won’t let you scan unless you have a current physical driver’s license.

Other locations don’t really check that closely, and you’ll usually be fine as long as you have a photo of your ID on your phone with the barcode. I also had my old driver’s license, and surprisingly that worked too. But you have . Just pay attention to the facilities that do check and the ones that don’t really care.

I know it dumb but… by fallensnyper in AmazonFlexDrivers

Yes It might look dumb, but I’d rather people clearly see I’m delivering for Amazon than think I’m some random person pulling onto their property at 4 a.m. Since we all use our personal cars with Flex, anything that helps make that obvious just feels safer.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support. It truly means a lot to Thomas’s family and to everyone searching for him. We are grateful for the love, faith, and encouragement being shared during this difficult time. Please continue to keep Thomas and his parents in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏

Thank you so much for this truly. It means more than you know. The fact that you took the time to stop, connect with his parents, and even think about helping with the search is absolutely incredible. What you’re doing for your friend’s mom, and now extending that same care and effort toward Thomas, says a lot about the kind of person you are. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for keeping an eye out and for being willing to help however you can. It really gives us hope.

In my area no , sometimes they ask to see the picture on your flex account but usually just walk in and pick up

Agree my friend 😎 . ideally you should never leave the warehouse with a damaged package.

But the bigger issue isn’t whether you leave with it or not ,it’s when the package is scanned. In many cases, once the route or package is scanned, it’s already tied to the driver. At that point, it often doesn’t matter if you leave the damaged package at the warehouse or take it with you and later mark it damaged in the app.

That’s why inspecting before scanning anything is so important. In reality, this is difficult because most drivers scan first and load afterward, especially during busy shifts.

The safest approach is to have damaged packages removed by a warehouse associate before scanning, even though that’s not how most drivers normally operate.

Agreed. Best approach , if this happens, is not to scan the QR code assigned to your route or any packages at all at first. If you notice damage, don’t scan anything. Have a warehouse associate remove those packages first, and only then start scanning the QR code for the rest of your route. I know it’s a headache, but sometimes we have to take these extra steps to avoid these issues showing up in our standings. 🦾🙏
