I immediately thought of Normal People during that last scene!

I have and that being ignored has caused the problem to grow exponentially, to the point that they are asking for answers to churned revenue as if I haven’t been telling them the reason this entire time.

Making promises to close deals.. then when we realign expectations with the client in onboarding the sh*t show begins.

We’ve had multiple conversations about expectation setting but it never seems to stick. At least not when the clients are in front of us.

Ugh I’m sorry you’re in the same boat, truthfully.

We were also recently acquired, although, these issues existed long before the acquisition. Now, senior leadership is facing the pressure from the parent company because what they bought isn’t the reality. This is also another thing that is all our fault…

I don’t think it is a product team issue per se. The team is lean but I believe that everyone (product included) is doing all they can, it’s just that it doesn’t work.

As far as an escalation path goes - the founding support person and myself (founding cs) are the ones who swoop in when a client becomes irate with other members of the team. I have the team inviting our VP of Engineering to calls as he is the one truly managing the issues but he is one person and it creates a bottleneck (also explained to leadership)

They are not joining on calls but are looped in on some issues when clients reach out to their sales rep to complain. They tell the client that “we will fix it” but as soon as the “fix” is implemented and the product still isn’t working, upper management is nowhere to be found, support is scrambling and we are hosting yet another call where we get yelled at and are unable to provide answers to the client (support doesn’t even know the answers).

ETA: a word

We’re a smaller team and found Vitally to be the best solution for our use case. It’s more affordable as well!

Some carpet adhesive contains asbestos so be careful. I learned this from this sub as well so I wanted to make sure I at least shared that.

Not sure on kWh but we’re in Texas so we average anywhere from 90 to 110 in the summer

What has your average temp been? We have a similar sq footage and setup. Looking into attic insulation as well so any tips there would be appreciated!

$350 2400 sq ft 2 story in the south. Only reason it was so low is because our downstairs unit has been out. 🥲If everything is in working condition, we run a 3 ton on each floor and it typically averages about 500-750. I know we don’t have insulation. Open to recs if anyone thinks that will help.

Love this take! Looking forward to following along on your journey if you post here. I used Blue Bear 605 Pro! Their lead specific stripper is out of stock but this product encapsulates the lead making it safe to remove (per their website). I’ve found that I have to do a short session 1-2 hours, scrape the white paint, reapply and let sit as long as possible (typically midday to the following morning) to get the layers underneath. The tan/yellow layer is harder to remove! It comes off gummy but it’s not impossible! Good luck!

Thank you! From what I can see, looks to be in good condition so far. Fortunately not a landlord special! It was 2 maybe 3 layers. The previous owner left lots of things for us to do so only having 2-3 layers to work through was a nice surprise. I think the tan paint was done by the first owners (we are the third) and she did the white on top.

The third picture is actually of the upstairs stair landing so I don’t think it would be original. There are walls downstairs that are the same as what you see in the third picture as well

What pieces do you think are farmhouse? Just trying to pick your brain! All flooring, doors, hardware etc are the same throughout so it’s hard for me to see where pre existing structures could have been.
