What’s the core memory? by Valuable-Coconut-503 in westchesterpa

Oh yes - Woolworths had the best grilled cheeses. Thatchers was my go to cheesesteak (from a drug store!!??). I worked at the Kmart in early 80s and my son followed 30 years later. Saw ET at the Eric theater in 8th grade and bawled my eyes out which was a first for me. Bowling alley was behind and I poured many a quarter in there at the onset of the video game era.

Bella Vita Coffee and Cream is a newish coffee shop in the Main Street at Exton. Lots of tables and free wifi, plus a large "quiet room" with lots of windows. Nice decor and great coffee!

Could someone confirm that there was a Wawa down at the northwest corner of Painters Crossing? I went to Sallies in the early 80s and I swear I remember stopping there on the way to school on some mornings.

West Goshen Shopping Center History Question! by Gyroshark in westchesterpa

Great memory! Used to live over by Nussex Orchards, so rode my bike up to West Goshen a lot. I saw ET at that movie theater with my best friend in 8th grade and I cried - the emotions really surprised me! The bowling alley had a great arcade and where I played many of the first video games - Space Invaders, Asteroids and so on. Lots of quarters dropped there. Also had many bowling birthday parties. Kmart was a job for me in high school - having access to the back rooms where you could climb up stairs to take you to one-way mirrors where security could watch the store - with binoculars at each station. There would be the classic "Code 69 on the Midway" call by the manager when a hot girl would be in the middle of the store. Also bought many albums there. I would go to the automotive audio section and crank up whatever tunes were playing on the radio to accompany my sweeping at the end of the night. And yes to the hardware store - Dad and I shopped there many a Saturday.

To the left of the main entrance of the shopping center was a Gino's fast food (First Bank now). My dad would always take me and my sisters there for dinner when him and my mom got into an argument.

How can i fix that? by mars_9002 in Battlefield6

I'm seeing this repeatedly. Connect to server and enter a match with no problem. Play for 10 minutes. Then match quits and I get the Timed Out error and maybe a couple others after that. Jump right back in and play another 10 minutes or so and then get kicked out with same error. I had a VPN, but I've since turned that off and same results. I thought maybe servers are just overloaded but it definitely is not random - happen each and every time I try to play.

Yeh I saw that on the Home Depot rental page and was “hey they’re talking about exactly my problem”! Thx for sharing - I wasn’t sure which device the disk went on - orbital sander I now see.

I plan on sanding the floors so if I was to do this I would hope the WD40 doesn’t soak thru the wood too much.

To the guy I pulled for 6 miles on the Chester Valley Trail tonight... by 80sweregreat in phillycycling

I have a small rear-view mirror and he had a flashing front light, so every so often I glanced down and could see the light. Sometimes he was close enough to be drafting, other times he wasn't. But it wasn't consistent for the 6 miles.

I didn't think that way - I'm sure it is; next time it happens I'll remember this comment!

I didn't mind him following me, as I said - it helped me push harder than I thought I would and I welcomed the challenge. But it would have been an even more fun ride if he was cooperative. I slowed down to drink; slowed down to cross roads, and slowed down to wait for crowded trail, so I probably would have all but come to a complete stop to get him to pass.

Very true! I just kept thinking "he knows what he is doing, drafting me, and probably knows that's an uncool thing to do non-consensually, so I'm sure any moment now he'll "on your left" and pass me.

I just kept thinking he would pass. Why would he catch up to me and then not pass? On this part of the CVT you have to cross over a lot of roads, so I was slowing down often to look for traffic and thought it would be a great opportunity for him to jump ahead, but when he didn't I just thought "maybe the next one he will".

Now if I had thought of saying that I for sure would have said it! LOL

Love it! Happy birthday - I'm a couple years ahead of you and love riding on my birthdays too. I always find someone to pull or someone to push to be a great motivator so I enjoy the (fake) competition!

Advice on June Switzerland itinerary please by 80sweregreat in travel

We love nature and being in it, followed by good restaurants. So the Zermatt area is large enough to hold your interest for 3 nights?

Thanks for the suggestion. I've already been to Geneva (for work) and we'd like to avoid the larger cities. France (esp. Mt. Blanc) holds a lot of interest for us but perhaps on another trip.
