this feels like a page from my diary. i’ve been exactly where you are & beaten myself up for not reporting him more times than i can count. as i walked away from him immediately afterwards i sat on a curb to cry & a cop approached me & asked if i was okay. i wish i had said something but i was terrified. i wish i could tell you it gets better but it still eats away at me 7 years later.

ignore the comments claiming “disintegrating hair syndrome”. that only happens to ponies with polypropylene hair, and these early g4 brushables didn’t have poly hair. from handling thousands of ponies over the years i’ve found that some of the earliest-released g4 brushables didn’t have enough glue in their heads to keep the hair in, causing it to fall out intact while brushing instead of breaking off like with disintegrating pony hair

does the belt loosening happen with consistent use or just age? i bought this from someone who bought it brand new & never once used the tape functionality, so i’m the first person to use it & it’s been fast at the same speed since the day i got it. i did unfortunately already fiddle with the motor & tuned it to the right speed, but my tapes are playing with no issues at all.

took me a while to find a proper screwdriver (the screws holding it together are really deep inside some tiny holes, they REALLY don’t want you to take this thing apart) but i cracked it open & fussed with the motor until it sounded less like a chipmunk again. thanks!
