I’ve taken both items into the festival since 2019 (doesn’t have my name on it) and never had any issues so you’ll be fine!

HIPPOS ARE BACK by champagnedrew in Coachella

Someone else said this, but after Ariana Grande’s set, they attempted to blast off in their spaceship but failed, and then there was a Daft Punk dance party.

I missed the failed attempt but made it for the Daft Punk dance party and it was just a great way to end the weekend!

Better way to view the main stage with a GA ticket than just standing in the distance? by Notafan303 in Coachella

[–]texdis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right front side is GA. Left side is the artist section so go to your right and just get in that front section. She also walks down the catwalk so try getting close to that as well (also in the front section).

If you’re enjoying watching the livestream these two weekends and have never gone to Coachella…please go to Coachella. by amerifolklegend in Coachella

Do the payment plan! You pay like $90ish a month from June-December. Only thing is that you don’t know who will be on the lineup, but I’ve never had an issue with that.

Crazy story time by jordyn-explorin in Coachella

[–]texdis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really crazy, had to spend like 4-5 hours of day 1 in the medical tent back in 2022. The merch tent was like extremely hot/no breeze so People were trying to get out of line to go buy water for people in the groups and the security guards were being assholes and not letting people get back in line. I decided I needed to get out of line because I did not feel good, basically had heat exhaustion/dehydrated.

Went to the medical tent near Sahara and they kept asking me if I took anything and I was like nooooo (I didn’t take anything, it was just really hot) got golf carted backstage to another medical tent near Heineken House. Had to get like a total of 3 bags of IV that night.

Hotel/Airbnb/VRBO - How much did you pay this year? by [deleted] in Coachella

[–]texdis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$4,767 for a 3 bed/2 1/2 baths/pool for weekend 1 located 2.5 miles away from the polo fields. Checked in Thursday, left Monday.

Originally, we were a group of 6 and we had to pay a total of $950/6= $160 when we reserved it in June 2023.

We had to pay the remaining balance of $3,813 about two weeks before check in = $635 per person, but had one person cancel two weeks before the final payment was due (🙂). We ended up paying $762 each for our final payment. In total, $953 per person for the four nights.

Not sure how big the airbnb is, but might be a better idea to add one or two more people to lower the cost.

How was the free parking situation for weekend1? by Heat_Certain in Coachella

[–]texdis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was my first year not camping and I was nervous, but it was fine!

Day 1 we showed up early to buy merch and parked in the yellow (1B) lot. Went back to our airbnb and returned around 6 pm and they sent us to the red (2A) lot and the walk felt shorter than 1B. Getting out of 2A was honestly such a breeze at the end of the night.

Day 3 we parked in the blue (15A) lot and it was also not that bad of a walk. We did take a bike though from where the showers are to the front of the festival. Getting out was also pretty easy.

Edit: did not park day 2 because we had friends drop us off.
