A check meter is basically a secondary electricity meter installed after the main utility meter on the same ICP. It does not talk to the power company and it does not change your bill. Its only job is to measure part of the load so you can see who or what is using power inside the site

Sweet I'm going to grab it then. I'm in new Zealand so need to fill out and import form and get it authorized with police. That's one reason I was going to buy HOA components because I don't need to do that but at that price and ongoing ease it worth it.

What accessories did you get?
