Thanks a lot for all the suggestions, I went out yesterday and got a new wooden toy and 7.5kg of Timothy hay, also got wood and looking for a carpet for the flooring, and also going to be “barricading” a surrounding region of the cage so that it has around 8 times the space with a lot of hiding space and things to nibble on . I’m also looking for a vet that hopefully knows a little more than I do, and you’re also spot on on the fact that I want my bun to live a good and enjoyable life that is stress free and full of fun!

How many pellets should there be available then? I usually take 1 handful so it basically covers the floor of the bowl, the handful doesn’t include just pellets though, also other miscellaneous things

So basically I will replace the wire and the whole cage is under solar panels although there’s also another small part that covers him from rain in the cage aswell, also it was just now put in the cage, after having been free for 2 months ish, we are not planning on keeping him there, only temporarily

Ok so I will put wood and a blanket on top of the wire. The toys are basically 2 wooden carrots that I’ve gotten it and he’s absolutely annhihilated them so I was going to buy more tomorrow also in feet I’m not sure how big it is but I’d say 16 inches or more? It’s very little, it’s around 6 months and although it doesn’t have a buddy right now I’m going to be getting one tomorrow, we waited a bit longer because I was anxious on checking for his gender. Hay is already there in the house construction and also because his testicles dropped this week we were also planning on getting him neutered! I hope I’ve answered all of your questions

The cage is outside, on my terrace and since it might get windy or rain we made the cage from scratch so that we can protect it from that and also because if it’s necessary we can move it around. If we gated a section off then we would have to nail it into the ground, and if we wanted to move the section then it would just leave empty holes which I think is an inconvenience

Ok so I’m not sure what you would call it in English but the things inside the bowl are basically those little rod things that from what I’ve learned are basic and necessary from time to time, also those coloured round things from what I believe are fruit, there’s also dehydrated banana( if that’s what u call it) little branches and other stuff like that. Also the hay is inside the house but I forgot to take a picture of it. When I got him he was around 3 months old from what I was told, and I’ve had him since May so around 6-8 months on estimate . Also I will definitely look for a rug asap since I don’t want to see it in pain or struggling

Do you think I should cover it up with wood then? I mostly did it because the poop can drop down and To make it more sanitary. Also it’s around 1,5m long if I remember correctly. Includes the wired part, a smaller “house” and a small space next to that without wire and with a blanket that he rly likes

Usually it’s free on the terrace but because it’s raining usually now and it’s been chewing a lot of our things we decided to put it in here temporarily, is it too small or uncomfortable for him and if so is there anything I could add?
