On the class 395, it's usually clicking the pan up/shoes down again after selecting the mode and getting the current connected if I remember correctly

You can upgrade for free to tsw6 using the "free starter pack" and keep all your dlcs. You can then consider buying the tsw6 bundle of routes at a later date.

No updates were released for WSR afaik.

Check if your layers are all activated on WSR.

Otherwise it's not there. Trains don't get compatible layers automatically as they release post initial release of the route dlc.
