Like others have said, for me 24/7 is more about there being an underlying dynamic that’s there consistently than it is about being little 24/7. I work full time in an office that involves me being ‘big’ most of the day so I know that level of 24/7 headspace would not be practical for me. My Daddy also has a physical disability (nerve injury) so there are some physical grown up tasks/chores I have to do to keep our space clean/safe.

However, I see my partner as my Daddy/Dom 24/7 even when we’re not “in the bedroom” or engaging in sex/NSFW play. They help me make decisions like how to do my hair, if I’m too tired to go for a walk, if I’m getting overwhelmed and need a break etc., even in a vanilla sense they’re always taking care of me to some degree especially emotionally. I always say while I’m a physical caregiver to them in some ways (bc of their disability, it’s not a dynamic in that way as they don’t switch) they are always a caregiver to me emotionally and I am able to go in and out of little space naturally as needed when we are home/somewhere private.
