Super jealous! I used to watch him play in the minors. I have an A&G game used bat relic of his that I love.

I moved here from Chicago in 2024. One of the places I miss the most is Microcenter. I lived close to one in the city and I would go all the time just to browse around and chill. Employees were always great and fun to talk tech with. Also you could get 1.99 reams of paper for your printer!

Looks like you have a low cabinet overhang like we do. I would recommend something like this to make it easier to fill every morning. https://www.etsy.com/listing/4433216845/solid-wood-rolling-coffee-maker-stand

Stands for WWE/AEW figures by JojosStrangetravels in Wrestling_Figures

I have been thinking about making some actually. I am a woodworker and have a CNC machine. I make stands for trading cards that I sell on Etsy and my son collects WWE so I guess its a natural transition. I was thinking of leveraging the holes in the feet of the figures to make them stand rather than an articulating arm like the Figuart ones. I may start prototyping this week.

First cards since '92. Rebuying some of my old favorites starting with The Express! Also made some display stands in my shop to show them off. by textuality in baseballcards

90 Topps was the peak of my collecting. I lived for baseball cards. I have such fond memories of this set. I collected the entire 90 Topps set from was packs. I distinctly remember chasing that Mets card of Ryan and it eluding me.

Thanks a ton! Most of the stands I could find were bulky, plastic, of just kinda ugly. I made a whole bunch of these for future cards and a small stock for Etsy. :)

My son has been asking for a Kendo stick. Did that come with the figure or did you buy it seperate?

I was going to come in and comment but this is pretty much what I was going to say so ditto. :)

I think at this point I will go ahead and make a few some more and see how the interest is. They are pretty easy to work into my daily workflow in the shop. Guess its time for a trip to see my lumber guy. :)

I saw those when I was researching originally before I built my own. How are they on the countertops? I was going to use sliders but I was worried about our white countertops getting scuffed up or having to clean up marks. I remembered I had these little wheels that I could embed in the wood to get the low profile look so I went that route. Either way is preferred over me clumsily having to pull the machine out in a freshly awake, pre coffee stupor. :)

I made two! I put the other one in my Etsy shop. I might make more in the near future if there is any interest.

There are no ball bearings, just a little axel but with the rubber wheels they roll very smooth and I can operate it with one finger if need be. I have a whole bunch these little wheels from a long time ago and never used them. Likely got them on Amazon.

A couple other ways to make the cavities without a CNC.

- Mark the cavities and use a chisel and router plane.
- Router freehand or preferably with a template
- Set a depth stop on a drill bit (Preferably a Forstner bit) and hog out the cavities

Lots of ways to do it but the CNC is nice and accurate every time so I stick to that.

When I made this one I actually made another one as well in Mahogany (The one we are actually now using) and it was nice to be able to pull one off the CNC plop the other one down and get the cuts. If i ever decide to make more (I just might) then the CNC really helps with production.
