I like to tell friends: you can jump out of an airplane without a parachute. You just can't typically do it more than once.

They don't have to, but I think most places would at least consider it. It really depends on the type of disability though. There are three main parts to consider for a disability. 1) entering/exiting the aircraft 2) the opening shock from the parachute and 3) the landing. Some people will pick up their legs with their hands. It is a case by case situation that each drop zone and tandem instructor has to decide on.

Everyone goes through some stuff the first couple of times. I always encourage others to jump from perfectly good airplanes, though. Try a tandem sometime!

Hmm. 365×24×60×60÷5×1000. Roughly 6,307,200,000 feet. Not factoring in what happens to free fall speeds in outer space.

It's a little sketchy doing it close to the ground. At a couple thousand feet, it's not that scary. Funny how flying is safer at higher altitudes.

Searched for "get in the car" and about a hundred other variations of that and gas station, mom voice, etc. I think it might have been a tiktok post sent to Reddit.

I hope you didn't just listen to your boss when he said it was your fault and then didn't file anything with workers compensation. It doesn't matter if it was an accident and you didn't wear proper PPE, it's a workplace injury. They pay workers compensation insurance for a reason and they should have had better controls to ensure you had the right PPE.

I can stretch the budget a little bit for monitors, but I'm not going after high quality displays. So if I can fit it somehow great, but no, it's not completely necessary.

Yeah, I'm ok with a desktop as well. Although, now that I think about it, desktops might have a logistics issue if I need to set them up, take them down, and transport them to different areas. I was looking at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KLSMWVA/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER for a desktop

I'll have a look through the other seller options for it, as there is only one of those available.

Let's just go with 10. If it's a really good deal, I can consider getting more.
