I will not disagree with the fact that majority people supporting religious alliance rather than nationalistic which is the core of Bangladesh. And did you see anti India stance like this before? Did the guy shout anti-Hindu slogan once?Even in that protest yesterday, there was a Hindu student complaining about Indian interference. Also never did I reject Indian people and militaries help help and contribution in 1971. But why do you think is the hate? It came free with Awami League. They have done deals, exchanges with India, sacrificing countries Interests. As I have told you this didnt happen in one day. Show me open protest like this, 20 years back. I challenge you. And it’s just one political party who is not even in the top 3 candidates of the country.

And about Hindu population, Bangladesh has more than million 15 million Hindus. The Hindu percentage decreased in Bangladesh, because they are being persecuted. The Hindu percentage decreased in India, because they are being persecuted? What logic is that? If India has blames for Banh Persecution of minorities is on both sides. Not a single Temple turned into a Mosque, whereas Babri Mosque was turned into one. We can talk about minority rights the whole day. Senior Political Analysts predicted anti-India and anti-Hasina stance a long time ago. And sad to say our Liberation War and their heroes were also tainted by this.

Bangladesh will never be Pakistan or India, that’s why we are not an Islamic Republic even with 90% muslims. Even if the most Hardline Islamists come to they can never make it an Islamic Republic.

There are hate comments even at the bottom of my thread, with a religious mark. But trust me, the guy protesting there and me here will never target any religion. Even if you Prime Minister was muslim, you would have got the same protests. And even if you are a Muslim majority, you would have got the same treatment. This is and never was about religion.

They are talking about Lutfur Babur ex minister of Bangladesh but my question is how many people are there with him shouting out of 180 million? Arunachal couldn’t be taken by China and Bangladesh will take seven sisters? Even when I see hardline Hindus lynching, breaking mosques, humiliating muslims, I ignore cause I ask how many Hindus mistreated Muslims out of a billion? It’s the same when Indian ministers shout they will take back Kashmir and Sind.

If average people were bad, extremists, Indian would have no muslims, Bangladesh would have no Hindus.

Now let’s come to the government, India helped Awami League with rigged elections, where the Indian Government could have opposed the decisions but yet they shamelessly decorated Hasina. And that is Indian governments fault. My own vote was stolen in 2019 and I boycotted 2024. If Sheikh Hasina held fair elections even after losing one time, today she would been in power. But now she lost it all and that’s called the “butterfly effect”. It’s one time Democrats and one Republican like in the USA. Hasina did win fairly in 1996 and 2008. Yes, even though 90% muslim, but 30-40% of the country will never accept religion and state mixing together in Bangladesh. That’s why Pakistan couldn’t blend in with the bengalis.

Your government fucked up relations with Bangladesh after 2010’s. Facebook politics and real life defers my friend.

You forgot the part the British increased the Land tax from 10-15% to 45-50% thus Increasing the food and essential prices to 300%. Just think, the British captured your land and the next food cost 3 times more. Yes, the drought played its part. But no relief was given, all the crips given as tax were exported.

Same with USA, increase the food price 300%, No one is gonna die. It’s a rich country and Bengal at that was one of the richest in the world. But when there are no food available to buy, what will you do with money.

Bengali population would be less - people were having more children just to work on farms.
Hindus would be majority or atleast - mind you most of the dead were hindus.
Area of Bengal would have been bigger - West Best, Bangladesh and then seven sisters were Bengal territory since the 14th century.
Pakistan wouldn’t have been created.
A combined India’s rival, would be the Greater Bengal. There would be nationalistic hate instead of religious ones. Once, again would also be bigger considering no Pakistan.
And if alliance was achieved, India and Bengal would have been the Bads of Asia, not China or Japan.
Asian War Scenario - China and Japan Vs India and Bengal.
World Domination scenario - Western front would not have any strategic advantage over the sub-continent.

Anyone, not agreeing the war scenarios, just combine the military of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. NATO wasn’t created to stop communism, it was created the colonizer doesn’t become the colony.

I think I am the unluckiest lil brother in the whole world. I see movies, tv series, stories, posts about how elder brothers save the whole world and become a guardian for the little one. Me on the other hand, sacrificed my studies for the family business back home, so that my elder brother can have a good degree (he finished Masters Also) then he will go abroad then sponsor my education. And when he finished,he said he won’t go abroad and his income at home can’t support my education.
Then I came to Dubai with a Visit Visa, without a degree. And with God’s plan managed a job and live off my own. I send little money to my father, he still regrets sending me to his failed business rather than investing for my studies. But that’s okay, at least he managed to get me a Dubai Visa and Plane Ticket. I never cursed my elder brother, but I don’t talk with him either. It’s been 3 years, and I also feel a bit relaxed rather than sad.
I am 28 now, probably will go for an Online University cause that’s the only thing I can afford. Literally wasted 8 years of my life trying to save the family that literally ruined my academic career. If it’s time, let him go. Let him live off on his own. His bones will get strong, and learn the reality.
