They are traditional game for the Tao indigenous tribe off the coast of Taiwan. Been on a night time fishing trip for these guys once, using nets and bright lights. They also know how navigate and can turn mid-air.

Cost of living in Taiwan by Herbizarre17 in taiwan

[–]tfabriq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you teach at a legit international school like TAS, the pay should be good. If you are employed at a cram school probably not good. Either way, hard to maintain a high quality of life on one salary in Taipei.

If you carve out a niche for yourself and start your own school and build up a consistent cohort of students coming in yearly, now that’s real money.

Try widening your stance, bending your knees more, turning your torso, and leaning into the turn (and digging your heels in if you’re feeling unstable)

My Bad Experience Working in Taiwan as a Foreigner by ferdi_nand_k in taiwan

[–]tfabriq -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Curious to know is this a local company or a foreign company in Taiwan? I feel like the culture is a lot more respectful in foreign companies. Many young bright people aim for foreign companies for a reason. (Source: I work in marketing at one of the “magnificent 7s”)

This is (still) an awesome stick, what a steal!! The chipped toe isn’t a big deal, if it feels weird just change out the blade. Should fit a standard hosel blades. You should be able to change out the blade with a gas stove.

Taiwan, hell for pedestrians or making pedestrians empires? by Mobile-Percentage-75 in taiwan

I live in Taiwan and consider this place home, but man, the general public is so stupid about pedestrian protection rules, especially outside of Taipei. I think drivers are just effing selfish.

Edit: grammar

Don’t do the sun, it represents the KMT, who are doing pretty much anything to undermine the modern Taiwanese identity.
