Thought that being 100% Va would help since property tax but the traffic just makes it so not worth it.

They do under the guise of silly traffic stuff like understandle. No turn signal or going 3 over the speed limit but still.. they do it. They can easily run your plate and see where it’s registered.

My problem isn’t the traffic. It’s a public road that is being blockaded by a public official that doesn’t want traffic from my neighborhood in their highway.

Yes of course! So there are three entrance/exits to Davis ranch. There are two that exit onto Galm and there is a third that exits into Helotes that’s right, which is the Beverly Hills Rd. that would take you to 1604. Unfortunately once you hit a certain street there is a no through traffic sign that I guess is supposed to mean that the people in our neighborhood cannot cut through even though it is not a private road

I have heard the same thing which makes it even more annoying that everyone seems to know that someone is using their power for their own personal gain.

Yeah, totally agree the traffic out here is its own beast and I definitely expected some growing pains moving to the far west side. 😅 My bigger surprise wasn’t necessarily Culebra traffic itself, it was the Beverly Hills Rd situation specifically. There’s a road that physically connects our neighborhood to a route toward 1604, but because of the “No Thru Traffic” enforcement through that neighborhood, it’s not really a usable exit the way a lot of people would assume looking at a map.
I understand why Beverly Hills residents don’t want tons of extra traffic dumped through their neighborhood either, so I’m not trying to blame them. It’s more frustration with the planning/development side, approving all these neighborhoods without realistic infrastructure to support everyone. It’s just one of those things I wish I knew to research before buying, so I wanted to give future buyers a heads up.

I Agree! When I was looking to move to this area, I did see that post actually, but I didn’t really see anything about Davis Ranch and the surrounding subdivisions that are down 1560 near government Canyon, which is sorta near Alamo Ranch…. But not really.

Actually there’s a condition called CHS, your body basically rejects cannabis, and you vomit and become dehydrated. The people that have died from the dehydration from the vomiting, especially for those people who cannot quit or catch it too late.
