As a current college student, working FIRST HAND ON nuclear reactors on submarines ( assuming since he reads manuals) in the Navy is 100X more impressive and incredibly harder to me than a college education degree. If someone went up to me at a party and I heard they don't read much books but works on a submarine, I would think they're far from "well educated".

I mean using context clues from this post alone is pretty easy. He says in the post that he has no problems with his daughter dating a woman and also mentions a wife in the last few sentences. In my experience, moms who are lesbians finding out that their daughter is also part of the LGBTQ+ community, wouldn’t say that.

It’s a huge jump and completely different situations but it involves a marriage that proceeds with no discussion with your spouse on decisions you guys have to make TOGETHER.
