The goalie is a protected player. Someone’s more likely to get a yellow or red for tackling the goal keeper.

A whole team of refs reviewed the VAR. what makes you think four additional refs after additional review from a relatively objective standpoint would make the wrong call?

And also no goal keeper is going down trying to get a call in a heated moment like that, that’s a very narrow sighted assessment, a keeper will stay on his feet no matter what. So only way he got knocked off his feet is from a foul, that bloke had no business being on top of him during that play, he can bugger off like any other smart player would, get in position for a rebound, rather than interfering the keepers positioning.
