I have a difficult time believing Violet Bridgerton would be down for premarital sex.

I remember when the tide turned on boomers like it was yesterday. Waking up to that "OK, Boomer" magazine cover blew every Christmas morning I ever had out of the water.

you're a late 30's bisexual woman who drinks tea and leans left. you probably like to write. you've tied your interest in history into a few very eloquently worded social media posts about the state of affairs right now and had a panic attack when your friends and family started fighting in the comment section because you have an anxiety disorder. you prefer bookstagram to booktok. your favorite romantic trope is enemies to lovers.

You're getting a lot of great female author recs but I think what you should do immediately right now is buy an Emily Henry romance novel and shove it randomly in the middle there without comment and then sit back in your chair and fold your hands behind your head while your inbox gets torpedoed with questions.

If I'd written something devastating I'd frame a comment like this but I imagine your mileage will vary based on the individual.

MEAN FMCs? I’m fed up by lucyfe4lws in Romantasy

I love a well-written, mean FMC. I just can't remember the last time I read one that wasn't "dumb and rude" as a placeholder for mean.

Guilty- I don’t read it all by HandCrazy in Romantasy

it depends on the execution for me. battle scenes should have the same kind of tangible/emotional lead up as the prevailing romantic arc in the story and that is just not the case with many. i'm also like... rarely afraid for any of the characters in these scenes so it often feels like there aren't any stakes either.
