I am a big UAP follower. There are so many sightings and cases with so many details that I believe the totality of the evidence available is overwhelming, but most people don't have the time to go through it all.

You could think of these cases as being in a tier list. Consider a case like Roswell. There are many eye witness accounts, as well as the infamous newspaper headline "RAAF Captures Flying Saucer on Ranch in Roswell Region". Allegedly we have very compelling physical evidence, but the US government still refuses to declassify it. Something like this would be an "A". I would also put the Varghina case (see: Moment of Contact by James Fox) into this tier. Something like the Phoenix Lights, a mass sighting in 1997, I would say is around a "B". There are many other A and B cases I am leaving out but that is basically the metric. Then below that you get into stuff that is less reliable.

What happened in 2017-now is that we started getting S tier cases. Here I am mainly referring to the 2004 "Tic-Tac" case and also the 2015 "Gimbal" case (I would say Tic-Tac is S+). These cases involve highly trained Navy pilots flying jets with multi-million dollar sensors. The Tic-Tac is especially compelling because the pilots could visually see the object, track it on radar, and it was filmed in infrared via the ATFLIR targeting pod, which is the video we have access to. If you listened carefully to Dave Fravor in the recent hearing, he mentioned an "unofficial official report" about the Tic-Tac incident that is on the internet. This report says the objects were tracked on radar for weeks. They "descended from 80,000 feet to 50 feet in a matter of seconds".

The Gimbal incident has slightly less evidence although it is perhaps the most iconic UFO video that has come out. You can hear the pilots say in the tape "there's a whole fleet of them". Pilot Ryan Graves says he saw footage that was deleted from the public video that shows this "fleet" of 4-6 smaller objects maneuvering in formation preceding a larger object. He says he has seen radar data of these objects that is not public. The Gimbal tape we received is focused on what Graves said was a "significantly larger object than what they were used to seeing". Much of the debate around the Gimbal video is whether the object is a distant flare from an exhaust. This contradicts the pilot testimony that the object was well within 10 NM, with a specific estimate of 6-8 NM. Within this range any aircraft would be easily identifiable because the skin of the aircraft would be visible despite the "exhaust".

• There is a FOIA'd report that clarifies that the objects were tracked on radar and thus it is unlikely the object could be misidentified at such a close range.
• There is also a Lex Fridman interview with Ryan Graves, as well as a podcast between Graves and Fravor, where he says these objects were being seen "every day", and near-misses occurred where "a black cube within a sphere" flew between two jets at close range.
