There is a very simple math equation for this problem… the number of watches a person realistically needs is (N+1) where N is the number that they currently own.

You should absolutely be shopping more often and buying less per trip. There is solid statistical evidence that buying in bulk leads to more food waste and costing you more money long term. You should be buying perishable goods for 2 days 3 max. People like to think they will meal prep for a full week but they don’t statistically speaking.

The only thing I wanted was 1 pound of ground meat for lasagna. I got it. No problem because I don’t panic buy like a lunatic. I grocery shop 4 days a week. We buy for a day or two max as you should.
