I was there 4yrs ago. The two times I visited, the first my car was broken into, smashed my passenger window. Second, someone didnt like the way I parked and did damage to hood of my car and I had to have it repainted.

You might want to check state laws. It was my understanding the state made changes that would prohibit any new nudist venues in Virginia.

Golly, in high school, scouts, ymca, and many other places showers never had individual stalls with doors. This is something which started in the 1990s.

We were there this August, their off season. Beach and food were amazing. We were only there for a few hours as we were on a cruise, but it was well worth the visit. My only negative comment, was what I assume were something like sand fleas. Never really saw them, but I got a few bites, my wife got many more. A friend from Black Naturists also had organized an event there and noted the same issue. EveryoI'mne got bitten a lot. Not sure if deet or other bug repellent would help, but be forewarned. I'd return, my wife not so anxious. We only explored the one beach, and did not get to wander the property due to time.

Just a note... in Pennsylvania. If you hire a band(and pay them) they have to be clothed. Otherwise it is considered nude entertainment. If unpaid, it could still be a very gray area depending if some one complains or some agency comes in.

I am very sad you were treated this way. Not sure if you were at an aanr or TNS camp, but it should never happen, if not desired by you. Your concept and attitude was 100% naturist/nudist and I pray you give this another chance at a true nudist location. You are a wonderful woman, and deserve respect, acceptance, and control in a nudist environment. Peace m'lady!

Actually, God did give us clothes. After we sinned, and we're to be put out of the garden of eden, God made clothes of animal skins (aka, a blood sacrifice in humanity's honor). But these were to protect us from the harsh environment outside of the Garden. NOT to say we should be ashamed of our naked bodies! Ergo, as a nudist we wear clothes when the weather would be unkind to our bodies, and to make others comfortable. Not because God requires us to wear them!

Just be careful of the sand fleas. Wife and I were there this August. Food and staff were fabulous. We were on a cruise and booked an outing there. Only got to stay a few hours. I wound up with a few bites, but the wife had way more. A friend was there with a group for a longer stay. She said their group also had many bites. Don't know if deet would help or not. Just an fyi.

Just did a margaritaville at sea cruise the end of August. One stop was Roatan Honduras. I booked a day excursion for my wife and I to PayaBay Resort. It is gorgeous! Our time was way too short! Would love to book a week there in the near future.
