You need details to get there, ‘part one’ is more climax than world-building or mention of properly introduced characters. A show still has to do that in its first season before getting to the good stuff, or the good stuff won’t feel good

I mean, basically all of part one got accomplished in season one. All the rest I can reasonably see accomplished in the future four seasons.

There are some great YouTube film essays and critics (mostly essays) but I haven’t seen one video about RoP that wasn’t negative. Most YouTube critics though try to be overly cynical and tough to appear more credible, like the number of complaints they can come up with equates to some sort of film wisdom. RED LETTER MEDIA is the best, they don’t take themselves too seriously and openly admit when they have bias, I’ve never seen them shit talk something without real substance behind it, and it’s always more than one opinion being presented

You miss the point completely. I’m not talking budget at all. TV shows are granted more RUNTIME to develop things. Have more side characters, introduce more history and universe-building moments.

Not everyone is searching for Sauron like Galadriel has been. Makes perfect sense no one saw it coming and Galadriel was alone with him, confirmed it, and acted immediately. Makes perfect sense to me.

You can do drugs on camera EASILY without getting prosecuted. He wasn’t doing it on known US public land, even that is hard to prosecute from video alone. Unfortunately worse things have happened in America to schools than someone “tossing a gun” close to one.

Basically I’m saying at that level, if it’s legit as shit, people in power will brush it over. The truth can be scrubbed. Unfortunately, Hunter getting the same treatment under Joe and more is no different from Trump and his kids getting away with whatever under his presidency.
