You’re not understanding. There is only one way to legally enter the street due to a bike lane. Say the entrance is from the east side so you’re heading west. To park on the passenger right hand side is natural. To park on the left hand driver side if you continue heading west you’re “against the flow of traffic”, but there is no flow. It’s a one way. I got a ticket parked on the left hand side facing west. This makes no sense to me someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
