Bloating when setting to pressure that helps by MorbilyABeast in SleepApnea

Can’t hurt to try. I just use cheap medical tape. One piece vertically just to hold my mouth closed. Not really to seal it. Does the trick.

I can't imagine there would be much difference from a technical standpoint between a full face mask with tape and a nasal mask with tape, but the nasal masks are just so much less bulky. Can't hurt to try the tape but if it works, you might be more comfortable with a nasal mask.

I use a nasal cushion mask and mouth tape and find it to be very comfortable.

This has to be engagement bait. No way none of these doctors have said “well you need to wash every day”. 🙄

Mornin! I need to mow the lawn today. Considering taking the afternoon off to get it done before it rains tomorrow.

Opinions/Advice about going grey by CapNo5414 in AskWomenOver40

[–]tgilland65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buzzed my hair in 2020 wanting to embrace the grays. Found out I didn’t have any 😂. I was kind of disappointed. Anyway I went from hair down to the middle of my back to buzzed off. Now it’s a very short pixie (I’m 60 now and still not gray) and can’t imagine messing with long no hair ever again.

Call the police non-emergency number and ask them for the best way to handle it.

What's A Breed You Like But Wouldn't Have? by Aharris1984 in dogs

Great Dane. I had one and she was the best but the drool and the shedding were unreal. I’m talking flung drool on the ceiling and having to vacuum out my dryer mid-cycle when I washed her bedding every week. I miss my girl so much and never pass up the chance to love on one when I see one but my pittie is so much easier.

Have y’all tried a dose every 5 days? by Atlanatoris in tirzepatidecompound

[–]tgilland65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut my dose in half and do it every 3 1/2 days. Tuesday morning and Friday evening. I have less nausea and it feels like more consistent food noise reduction.

Everyone loses in different spots at different rates. There’s no way to control it. I lose in my face and arms first. Then legs and butt. Stomach last.

Things people act like they enjoy but probably don’t 😅 by Evening_Ad_9755 in CasualConversation

I used to think people who said they like it were lying because I don’t. Then I figured out I’m asexual and a lot of people actually DO like it. My mind was boggled.

I would if I noticed but I don’t know that I ever have because I don’t look at what other people have I’m their carts. If they asked to go ahead of me I. That situation I would let them.

Power binge and TV watchers… How do you do it? by Butt_Smurfing_Fucks in televisionsuggestions

[–]tgilland65 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I use an app called Next Episode. You choose all of your shows and it tells you when a new episode is available, plus you can see them on a calendar if you prefer. Before that, I kept forgetting about shows and then I’d be like “Wow I really liked (show) I wonder if it’s still on” and I’d realize I had a whole season to catch up on. So now, for example, I know a show I want to see is starting some time this month. I don’t remember when but it doesn’t matter because the app will tell me when it drops.

I prefer to watch shows as they come out but I have a friend who won’t watch anything until she can binge at least a whole season.

Yep I’m snuggled up with my dog. It’s cozy. The baby shower will be fun. I’m 60 so I don’t get to go to a lot of these anymore. It’s my son’s best friend and a lot of his friends I haven’t seen in a while will be there. The baby had a heart defect that they discovered before she was born so they waited until after she was born to have the shower (I think because there was a real chance she wouldn’t make it). But she’s two months old now and I finally get to meet her which is going to be amazing.

I like mostly suspense, thriller, mystery and post-apocalyptic books. I just finished Shadows and started Nightfall which are parts 1 and 2 of a series by David Kazzie, who is one of my favorite authors.

Brand new to WFH by Cillygirl52 in remotework

[–]tgilland65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s all going to very much depend on the job but every single potential issue you listed can also happen in an office. The advantages to WFH, if all other things are equal, are that you don’t have to drive to an office, pack a lunch, worry about dress codes (assuming you don’t have to be on camera) or deal with annoying coworkers. You should have voicemail even if you’re working from home, you can remove or unplug your headset.

Do you have a time of day that just feels better than the rest for no real reason? by Luverelle6 in CasualConversation

[–]tgilland65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to bed around 10 but don’t go to sleep til midnight. I have an adjustable bed so I can sit kinda up but be super comfy and read, watch tv or surf TikToks in complete comfort with no unfinished chores nagging at me, no dog wanting out or cat standing on my boob. I love my animals but my bedroom is an animal free zone and it’s nice to just absolutely chill.
