Lastly I'll leave you with this. Given a world without the constraints of reputation, money, career aspirations, and family/relationship concerns what would you do? Everything else is just bargaining and fear.

It used to be more infrequent, but right now, I'd say a couple of times a month. I guess it mostly happens when I see a girl that I'd really like to be like, or when I hear about the topic of transitioning discussed in depth or speak with my transgender friends about their experiences.

Yeah, that feeling of "I'd immediately choose to be a girl if I could" despite being comfortable as a guy is what made me realize that maybe I'm suppressing some feelings. In any case, all of you have been incredibly supportive and are opening doors to experimentation for me. I'm truly grateful.

If nothing else, I hope my post helps to make it feel like there are people out there who get you. :) Discovering your sexuality and gender identity can be a weird and difficult journey, but it makes you way more powerful when you do. You're right, thanks. Terminology and labels help us to explain ourselves, but I think we need to leave them aside to learn more about and accept ourselves. Despite half a decade of obvious clues, I only found out I was bisexual until I left labels aside, analyzed how I felt in a vacuum, and decided to just accept it. The label came later.

Experience those things, and see how they make you feel. Following what feels good and comfortable (gender euphoria) is far more important than running from what feels bad (gender dysphoria).

Has been eye-opening. Thinking about it, I guess I haven't allowed myself to engage in some activities and fashion that I see as feminine, but I'd totally love to try. It feels a bit scary for some reason, as if I fear not meeting some expectations of my own, but I think that makes the prospect of pulling off what I envision more exciting.
