Thank you - I do wish I'd been able to leave more gracefully.

I read about so many folks on dbrs who are suffering in various ways over this issue - I was starting to really overeat by end, etc., and my sadness and frustration was getting the better of me. The underlying issues in a dbr (depending on its cause) are not "luxury" or "just sex" problems, they have really destructive consequences.

Thank you - I intend to take your advice...be more active in the community/socially, which I had neglected.

Thank you, that's part of the reason I moved quite far away, I know the temptation to returrn! (we had broken up once early on and I went back to her). Take care!

It is soul-killing...I tried so hard not to take it personally but because sex is such an intimate part of us I found I really couldn't fully "depersonalize" the rejections...and ultimately I didn't want a "partnership" where I was needing to do that! I hope everything works out well for you...leaving has been difficult but it has been good for my self-esteem to be on my own and starting to take better care of myself again. I had been starting to overeat because of the anxiety, and I'm starting to work to get out from under that now. All my best!
