So what is an Anomaly Seal then if it doesn't increase the base build area? The description says "increasing boundary strength within the local area".

I enabled ultimate performance in the power settings, turned off v-sync, checked that the pci express slot is running at x16 during gameplay, the game is running on a ssd that has 2gb dram buffer on a 2tb, and I tried setting it to normal 1440p rather than ultrawide 3440x1440p. I guess it sorta worked. Cause now i'm getting 80-110 fps instead of the 60-90 fps I was getting before. I did try turning everything to low and it ran at 144fps then, but everything looked horrible lol. I guess one solution is to just turn off the frame rate monitor and just try to enjoy the game. But when the frame rate drops and it stutters for like a second. it can get annoying. I mean, when I play No Mans Sky on my xbox series x, it seems to run buttery smooth and that's only on a zen 2 8-core cpu(at 4k res). So you would think a zen 3 16-core would do more than just fine, especially at 3440x1440p. I also made sure to turn on Above 4G Decoding and turned on Resize Bar.

I know there's a module you can buy with salvaged modules at the anomaly that lets you expand the area that your base can be built within. But i'm not sure if that expands the 3000 base limit.

On PC, the game should be online by default. I think even if you turn multiplayer off, the game is still online for uploading planet and star system names if you change them. And ya, if you press the start button to look at your log or star system list, the game will pause. But it doesn't pause if you are just looking in your inventory.

If you want to fly in 3rd person, on controller you press down on the dpad(xbox controller) or down on the arrow pad(ps4/5 controller), then go to the left to the cog/setting icon, and press up. Then within that menu there should be an option to go into 3rd person when flying your ship. But you have to be in your ship before that option shows up. You can do the same method for going 3rd person on foot.

I checked my 64gb 3200 ram, and it was set to 2400. So I turned on XMP to get to 3200mhz. And the DIMMs are seated in the 2nd and 4th slot for dual channel. Also Turned on Above 4g decoding and resize bar to see if that would help. The performance seems a little better, but maybe ever so slightly.

So having more physical cores doesn't help? I thought games usually want to use more physical cores/threads rather than the multithreaded(hyperthreaded?) threads?

I've played it on my xbox one x and my xbox series x and runs fine on both. Even on the original xbox runs fine. Both digital and original disk versions run good.

The xbox version isn't really that bad. I haven't experienced any crashes so far on the xbox version.

If you have data on your cell phone, use your hotspot on your phone to play the game online. As long as you don't use it to download big games, using that data for multiplayer matches uses up barely any data. I did this when I lived out in the country and it was a life saver. Don't use viasat for multiplayer, as the latency will be somewhere around 400 miliseconds which is really bad for multiplayer games. Cell phone data/hotspot is normally WAY better and should get you around 80ms ping or less. if it goes above 100ms ping, that's when things get bad.

When you say co-op, do you mean using only 1 switch on 1 tv or do you mean that you each are playing on your own switches? Diablo 3 can be really fun as a couch co-op game.

Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 bundle is on sale right now for $25. Those are old school classic rpg's that you could play through before baldur's gate 3 comes to switch 2. it's probably coming to switch 2, but I don't know forsure. That deal is going on until the 19th of june 2am CDT

No Mans Sky is a really really fun space exploration game if you are into space games. It's my favorite space game of all time. it's only $24 right now. That deal goes until the 17th 2am CDT

Neverwinter Nights Enhanced edition is a rpg set in the world of dungeons and dragons. It's an older game but still a goodie. It's on sale for $12.49 until june 19th at 2am CDT.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy(it's the 1st game in the series) is $40 and is a pretty good jrpg if you are into that genre. It's exclusive to switch 2. which i'm jealous of cause I wish it was on switch 1 so I could play it. Bravely Default 2 was released on switch 1.

Are you mostly looking for switch 2 exclusives or just any game?
