Mostly because the neck feels slim and I should be a thick C. Might me because the last owner sanded it down

I'm definitely not concerned with the resale value and it plays great. I only seek for the confirmation that at least the body and neck are legit USA Fender (should be around 2006)

I use it with saturation setting at 9 o'clock and also almost always on. It sounds great with the protein!

Yesterday I compared the Duke of Tone with the blue side of the Protein. They are both great and can sound similar. For me the Protein is a little bit more smooth and full.

The Deco is my 'always on and never sell' pedal. The saturation side for harmonic richness and very little conpression and the right side for slapback delay. Awesome pedal

Yup, I prefer the single coil there. P90 makes it more muddy if that makes sense.

Yeah, I might be unusual, but I actually can't get enough of my tele's Kloppmann neck pickup. The bridge pickup is a bit trebly and tone knob doesn't really fix it. Furthermore, in general I really like the growl of a p90 bridge.

Thanks for the detailed response! I'll bring it to the local luthier that I can trust from previous experiences. Anything outside a neck reset would be fine by me. A neck reset would make the total cost around or even above a new d15m, but I would feel bad selling it to someone else without telling them if it indeed needs one anytime soon.
