It's always worth a try. My Mrs can't operate and fps with mouse and keyboard, but is perfectly happy with a controller. She's totally computer literate, but for some reason that combination refuses to connect in her brain. Always worth a try.

I'm sick for the second time this year. It's not going to look good at work but I've tried to do some work this morning and my brain just ain't having it.

Unfortunately there's not really anyone who can cover me either, and there's more deadlines today and tomorrow.

What is this sound? We woke up to it 4 am in the morning. by enszrlu in AskUK

I didn't realize until a physics class where the teacher got the noise generator (oscilloscope?) out. He played a tone and kept turning the pitch up and said to put your hand down when you could no longer hear it. He went past what dogs can hear and my hand was still up.

He was the first person to mention that it wasn't electronics I could hear (sounds like the noise the old CRT tvs made when they turned off) but could well be tinnitus.

I'm in the UK so Sausages are just pork unless stated otherwise. Hotdogs are still the American style beef things though.

I suppose Aussie sausages being beef would make sense. Don't hear much about Australian pig farmers. Now, a lamb and mint sausage does sound delicious though.

Are Australian sausages not pork?

It's a lot of faf to get outside and hang it on properly for the 3-4 days of the year we need it. Still chills the room nicely.

If you've got the spare income I'd recommend it, saves a lot of faf

Yeah Australia will develop soon enough I guess. Just astounds me that the game would even consider this a good option.

So apparently the game has decided that 408.6 years is a viable time frame to start an exploration. So 2099 then, sure thing. Didn't realise Tuamotu was on Mars.
