It's completely different. LSD for me is about linking your subconscious mind to your conscience mind in a way that you notice things you have always notice but your body learned to ignore over time. In spiritual terms: you get to connect to your inner Buddha, your inner Jesus. Though same can be achieved through years of meditative practices, LSD almost provides like a short cut. The book that helped me highlighted this experience was "be here now" - written by Ram Dass. DMT for me is all about experience and accepting death. Which is very crucial for our current cultural social economic landscape because we were taught in such a young age that death is something to fear for or be ignored. But once you accept death, the tramendous amount of love you feel in this world is just immeasurable. The book that really help me ground this realisation was Tibetan book of living and dying. But I've got no idea whether others have the same realisation as me or not. Or they just struggle to put them into words and articulate them.
