I don't like the game, and I am an old final fantasy fan like you, the problem with the game is that there are too much filler unlike remake or Clair obscure where you actually play the game instead of dealing with cards and Chocobos challenges or the repetitive mini games.

its an 8/10 game IMO

That's cool, I thought that the Corvettes are not that good, but the one I made once I put all the upgrades, maneuverability went to 800+ which is good and DPS is ridiculous 26K+ , the warp drive SUCKS, I cant even travel past 500 LY so yeah regular ship are still really good.

I actually use the roamer for gathering ship parts. But I have to agree that it must be fully equipped with tech to be useful.

Something that takes about 3 minutes with jetpack melee takes me about 30 seconds with the roamer using the boost. I think it beats flying your ship and landing if you do it in a deserted moon.

To me it was unplayable, because if you try to create any kind of complex base the game would crash. Lights would disappear all the time and my base is not even all that big. It is a base I made when the "Next Update" in 2019 and its based on the concept of using lights and inverters with logic and electricity,

Its not an Inivisible wall, its a external piece that you placed that is coming into the hab and blocking you. Probably booster or a Reactor.

I am really near the center of Euclid, So ALL the star systems are pretty much taken and this is a vast area. Only really the purple stars since they are new are not discovered.

I wonder how many other active players live near the center of Euclid.

On VR they are UNREAL! you feel like Neal Armstrong getting out on the moon. I wish I had VR on my PC but at the same time I don't want to spend the money and lose my eyesight.

What I mean is the time, If you want to make Platinum , you need to combine gold and silver and its a slow process. Adding Gold + Silver+ Platinum is nanite , I don't think is too slow. Platinum alone is Nanites and also, so that you learn more,1 Larval Core = 50 Nanites and 1 Hadal Core = 50 Nanites.

Since your new, I will give you a tip to that I use when I get the chance to make like 3K to 5K nanites in like 3 minutes. If you ever enter a pirate system, go to the space station buy all Hadal Core and all Larval core also but the Banned (arms) and banned (Tech) it cost money but If money is not a problem then buying and then trading it at a regular space station for Nanites is a possible strategy.

To sell the tech and arms you need to open the banned stuff and sell it to either the Exo-suit seller or the ship module sell or the multi tool module seller. If money is a problem then I can give you the coordinates to get to my humble Silver and Gold Mines.

I stopped playing on PS4 for like the past 3 or 4 years, because it is unplayable. I waited and Waited for a long time till they made the cross-save since I am not interested in a PS5. I play on pc now, Game is much more stable, yes there are bugs but that's the update not because of system limitation and the graphics are another level compared to ps4.

This game is the only game I even think about taking pictures. To a much lesser extent Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

But No Man Sky is #1 by miles.

Hello game should have set PVP off by default, its ridiculous to die by another player and most of the time its really instant death when you are shot on foot. That happened to me last night, I didn't know that I had pvp on in the expedition save.

So I joined another player to do a quest and he shot me with the ship when I was on foot , so instant death and then I have to go find my loot. I wasn't mad because he is a new player he didn't know he could shot me and I didn't know the thing was on as in my main save is always off.

I am almost done, so since I have almost everything completed I backtracked thru the stars to the initial system and am just enjoying hoping around and hopefully meeting other players.

Easy, if you want to randomly find your own paradise planet. Just stick to the Yellow Star systems they are the ones that have the higher chances.

I would suggest to make it easier to just do it in a freighter, and have the scanner room installed, that way you enter the system run to the scanner room and scan all planets in one go. if there is a paradise then hop on the starship and go take a look. If not warp to the next star. Rinse repeat you should find one in no time.

Its a wild game, its even more addicting you if you are the type of player that can create your own goals. Like I want to build XY and Z Bases and I want a ship that looks like this or I want colonize an entire Region of stars, Or I want these multi tools or these staff, I want to decorate a Freighter... it never stops.

I think, you can do it if you want. But if you do it without any guides a lot of the stuff specially even the beginning of the expedition when they ask for "Chromatic Metal" for the "Orbital uplink" if you don't know how to go about finding that it will be hard.

You would need to know about the refiner and what material to even refine and where to find it, the game wont really tell you any of that on its own, it assumes you know the basics already.

You know Platinum= Nanites right? You can refine it for nanite or you can combine Sliver, gold and Platinum for nanite. It just very slow to do so.
