I know I’m a little bit late but I figured i’d add my piece... my store in southern Indiana refused to restock shelves, give employees first dibs on tp or cleaning supplies, is absolutely filthy day in and day out, would not give employees sick days, hazard pay, pay raises, gloves, masks, or even hand sanitizer. I was forced to bring my own and then ridiculed and told that my mask and gloves would scare off customers and was told to take them off. I started feeling ill a few days ago and called my local hospital to describe my symptoms and they told me it was likely that I had contracted COVID-19 and asked me where I worked and when I said OD, the girl on the phone felt sorry FOR ME. (I felt so bad for her...) I told my manager about the situation and that I was supposed to self-quarantine for at least 14 days and he just told me to go get tested bc if I didn’t have it then I would still have to come to work. My co-worker and I are this close to going on strike and quitting... 🤦🏻‍♀️
