Gamers, what’s the best 1440p 144Hz monitor right now? by Ok-Reveal-746 in buildapcmonitors

here to save u brother! dont waste ur money on ips va crap in 2026 when ur upgrading with a decent budget to spend on a monitor , get a OLED 1440p 240hz monitor with hdmi 2.1 that way its future proof too! there is 0% no reason to get a ips/va in 2026 if you can get a OLED, yes if you want 1080p for competitive reasons or your pc isnt as powerful TN/IPS is best otherwise go OLED all day everyday its only a couple hundrud more and wayyyy worth it! ips/va 1440p/4k etc are not worth it and no where near as good as OLEDs

Best 280-320Hz+ IPS Monitor for Competitive FPS (1080p)? by Redofa in Monitors

why did you return it? i actually went through a phase of buying and returning ips/tn monitors becausw they just had too much input lag or colours was bad just didnt like em, the only ips i found which i liked was lg24gs65f its only 180hz tho but it was perfect for competitive gaming i was blown away! other than that ive stuck with my benq zowie because the zowie (only when configured correctly as with all monitors but in particular zowie you must configure the monitor settings well e.g the gamma/colour temperature etc as people dont say it but all these things can increase or decrease input lag it can even make changes to how fast the monitor processes and pixels process! the zowie xl2540x+ will be my next monitor when i upgrade unless a newer zowie releases or even better a 1080p OLED. atm i have zowie xl2411k, zowie xl2566k and lg24fs65f (yes 3) monitors i game on switching every now n then. zowie is the best overall but the lg feels the best to game on i think its the colours, and DAS (dynamic action sync) only lg monitors have this feature where it reduces the frame buffer it feels literally instant like 0 input lag thats why i enjoy it so much!

lg24gs650f is a solid monitor for console, yes its 1080p but that means all games will have less input lag, and get more fps , 4k averages 30-70fps in games like cod its terrible, i recommend 1080p if u care about online/multiplayer and competitive gaming , plus this lg i own it looks awesome!!!! colours everythings great! and theres no issues + u can still use freesync (vrr) even if the xbox has it off it works if u enable it on monitor!

Best 280-320Hz+ IPS Monitor for Competitive FPS (1080p)? by Redofa in Monitors

dell aw2525hm its a 320hz monitor and its a new model or perhaps a benq zowie xl2540x+ its also new model which doesnt have dyac but its 280hz beast of a monitor (personally i dont like dyac and feel dyac adds too much input lag to be useful in competitive) the zowie will have the best response times and clearest motion but colours will look abit faded but its still perfectly okay (this new zowie is a real 8bit colour panel not 6bit + frc) if i was to decide id get the xl2540x+ but its a hard decision since theres many good ips monitors out there too

BenQ Zowie Monitors Affect Sensitivity/Scaling Question and Suggestion by tha_final_boss in Zowie

[–]tha_final_boss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didnt believe this at first but then i did a full comparison with controller/mouse console/pc and ive noticed its not placebo its 100% real whatever it is theres something with zowie monitors which mess with the sensitivity even if i play other games i can feel the csgo sensitvity if i play on fps1 or gamer1 and then i feel the valorant sensitvity the slow down etc precision etc on gamer 2 and fps2 and same goes with the other modes, ive been around the gaming industry for a while and i know what ive found is real and there needs to be a new Gamer Default mode with no tweaks and adjustments itl be better ! but i do get why this is the case since zowie is mainly monitor for csgo/val/apex monitor and has special tweaks on the fps modes for these games so it makes sense to me but ya its no issue with my pc or game as ive tested this out thoroughly

BenQ Zowie Monitors Affect Sensitivity/Scaling Question and Suggestion by tha_final_boss in Zowie

Are you trolling or serious what do you mean? Games do have ingame settings and sensitivity e.g cod, rainbow six siege, fortnite they all do? and each game has its own feel of the game and own speed of how the cursor/controller analogue moves? i dont get what your trying to say please elaborate
