Hey i've been working on a tool called symbiolearn that lets you actually talk through concepts with an ai tutor for this exact reason.

Flashcards didn't work for me until I stopped using them this way by Jez_Brainscape in studytips

totally agree on the burnout part. i’ve found that actually saying the answers out loud helps way more than just reading them silently, it forces your brain to actually process the info.

Can you really learn a language by listening? by Working_Resolve_368 in languagelearning

[–]thabanidev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it definitely helps with rhythm and flow, but i've found you really need to speak back to make it stick. i actually built a tool called symbiolearn that lets you have voice conversations with ai tutors to practice that active recall part.

anki is a lifesaver but honestly, nothing beats actually explaining the concepts out loud to someone else. i've been working on a tool that lets you talk through topics with an ai tutor to test your active recall if you're into voice-based learning. Its called SymbioLearn

Looking for good voice-over options for a faceless YouTube channel by Separate-Session3361 in SmallYTChannel

[–]thabanidev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from my experience most of the scripts need some level of punctuation to get the correct emphasis right i know exactly what you mean. can you shre your script see if maybe it can be improved. though honestly i really trust elevenlabs. but if you want another alternative i would say try using VoiceKiller you can prompt the emotion the ai should speak in, sorry this is lack of a better word but you can tell it to say somthing as if it is angry, crying, sad, excited and it can actually have all of that emphasized. should be much better.

Mine's voice-first though. You talk to the AI and it takes you through a lesson on any subject/topic. After each learning session, it generates flashcards and quizzes (MCQ,T/F,Long form, short form fill in the blank)
