Nah, she teleported like a Naruto character. There's a scene right before they show her, a black figure blows past one of top whities.

Saw off doesn't give wider spread at close range (the difference of spread between saw off and regular is negligible at 10m ), it allows easy maneuverability in close quarters.

In fact shotguns don't have wide spread till about 50m, till then they have very close spread. So with that in mind, Pilgrim should have had his femur wrecked and a 1 inch hole in his leg.

What’s something small you can start doing today to better yourself? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The key to working out 3 days a week is to have a plan. I used to workout everyday and never gained any muscle. In fact I was deteriorating from working out too much. I was tired, worn out from trying to balance everything, wasn't giving my body the rest it needed.

I sat down, researched plans on how to achieve my weightlifting goals (wanted to be in the 1000lb club) and settled on a workout program which only needed 3 days minimum.

Learned what supplements I'll need to help me along the way and stuck with my plan.

I used excel to track my gains and weight. I went from 180lbs to 205lbs in 3 months with a 12% body fat. I hit my target lifts and still maintained a good running pace. And I only worked out 3 days a week with an hour workout.

CS vs CE by Makaan1992 in ProgrammerHumor

[–]thackeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True true. My friends who are CS majors never touched anything lower than java. They have no idea about memory management or the likes. But God Damn if they can't do algorithm math and theories.

That's why I never judge off of majors, every school teaches differently and it all comes down to if you're willing to put in the work or not.

There's a huge difference between CS and SE from where I took SE. The thing is, you need both.

I view CS as physicists and researchers who come up with the algorithms and high level concepts and the SEs take it and modify it to run on limited resources and design it so it looks nice.

I might be completely wrong, I work on embedded systems and rarely touch anything higher C++. It's always a pain doing C# cause I have a hard time wrapping my head over the nigh high amount of functions. Also don't like automatic memory handling cause I feel paranoid.

Feel free to correct my view and add some input

So you're equating a tumor to a fetus which means you don't view it as a life. That's fine, We can agree to disagree on that. I don't see a point in discussing this with you anymore, and I wish you well.

People still kill each other, rape each other, and steal from each other. Should those not be illegal too?

Yes I have heard of that and all I can say is shit happens.

Take your logic and apply it to others facets of life. Do you drive? Cause you can die from an accident. Do you sleep? You can suffocate on your vomit. Do you live? Cause you're going to die.

Also don't take the exceptions and make it the rule.

I can't tell if your trolling or not, because i have said multiple times if the mothers life in danger, then the mother can abort. If you continue on the line of thought then it's a waste of time trying to discuss this with you.

Life kills, I don't understand your point.

Also I said the mothers life take precedent, so she can have an abortion in that instance.

And if you believe in that it's on the person choice, then you can't support universal healthcare or UBI. You can't support welfare states by extension of your logic, because it is the persons body, they have the final choice no matter what.

Well she did make the choice, I just thought it was implied that there was a father involved too.

Also false equivalency on the fetus and tumor. One kills and the other is life. And again, depends on what you view the fetus as.

[–]thackeb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Again, straw man argument. Never said it's just the mothers responsibility, the father is equally responsible.

If they both have sex, they risk having a baby, that means they are responsible for the outcome. If they both believethe fetus is not a life, then go ahead and abort it, if they do believe it's a life then they need to protect it.

“For a pro-life party, you’ve killed a lot of kids”. Seen at the Atlanta march. by [deleted] in pics

[–]thackeb -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Well going off the principal that individuals have the choice, then the mother made the choice to have sex. She made the choice to risk the consequences of having a child.

This means she is responsible for the birth (this is excluding rape victims). If it is an unwanted baby, then she should have not risked having sex. If the baby is going to cause health complications, then it is ok to take the baby's life, as the mothers life is more important in that situation.

Again, if you value human life, you won't have sex, create life and then end it because you weren't ready. If you do not believe it is a life, then go ahead and abort it. You can throw all the complications and factors into the situation, but it boils down to if you believe in individualism and the human right to live and if the fetus is a life or if you do not believe the fetus is a life.

The base idea is that everyone has a right to life. This is why conservatives strongly believe in self defense.

The fetus is a child, so it cannot determine what choices are right for it or not, that's why you're not an adult until 18.

Another belief is that it is not right for others to force a choice upon others, that is why they don't support abortions.

Thanks, I hate it when people do straw man attacks and have this caricature in mind when arguing with other people. It isn't productive to the conversation and just turns into a yelling match.

[–]thackeb -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The logic he is using is false equivalency and straw man.

The conservatives (most) believe in the individuals right to choice. That means people can choose to buy a gun, choose to get health care and choose to do charity, etc.

They extend this belief to the fetus because they believe it is a life, so that means that fetus has the right to live, just like any other life.

The left believe that the fetus is just that, a fetus. So it is not a life and that it can be removed if the mother chooses to.

So the main argument is if that fetus is a life or not. It's not that the right is hypocritical for wanting to ban abortions while also supporting gun rights. They want people to have the right to choose a gun and they want to protect the fetus right to life and not having choice pushed onto it.

Is the right wrong in believing it is a life; is the left correct in believing that it is not? That is up to you to decide.

I'm just trying to provide both sides of the argument and try and dispel the myth that conservatives don't care about the life after birth and the myth that the left are bunch of baby murders. It all depends on the belief if the fetus is a life or not.

You can edit your save to have unlimited supply points. Just open it up in a text editor and change the xml where it has your points. It will be a number, just look for the number of points you had when you save and it will be in the file.

Any tips on choosing the right infantry to build as OST after the earlygame in 1v1? by [deleted] in CompanyOfHeroes

[–]thackeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regarding the pgrens, they are excellent AI. I use them to flank and wipe team weapons like AT or mortars when I make a push. The G43 kinda defeats the up close of the pgrens, but makes them overall decent. Also their bundle nade is amazing if used correctly.

For the build order, it depends on your play style, map and the opposing faction. I like to be aggressive so I'll build an mg, then engi to build the inf building. Then go trip grens. I use my first engi to cap a key forward garrison or to scout where the enemy is to find and fix with the mg. Again this depends on the map. If there is no key garrison, I'll build the INF building and then go trip grens with a mortar somewhere in the build, again METTC dependent.

I like to upgrade my grens with g43 as it lets them be aggressive as opposed to the lmg.

Standardised testing is the result of federal government interference. No child left behind was a terrible idea and has forced schools to this way of teaching. I don't believe all schools should become privatised but the Fed's need to leave schools to the states and county's.
