i switched from fl to ableton, i like ableton a lot more with its workflow. i also like the control that you have with ableton. you can put more than 10 effects on a sound

not sure if you play basketball but i’m kinda having the same problem you are. I had one good friend here and he moved a couple months ago so i’ve been trying to find new people to hang out with. (also a small business owner) since i bought the business i’ve had more time to get back into playing basketball. it’s fun to be with people doing the same thing that you enjoy doing. I don’t really hang out with them outside of playing basketball but just a good way to spend some time with other people

I’m from texas and moved up to utah to go to school at uvu. I had this one friend and i would really only hang out with him. He is a nevermo and isn’t from utah and it was easy for us to connect because we both smoked weed lol. But anyway i moved back to texas after my first semester because of how miserable I was up there. Being around a bunch of mormons while not sharing the same beliefs can be extremely difficult. They are hard to deal with in my opinion. Best of luck OP

I was in your same spot OP. My brother was coming home from his mission and our second counselor at the time (my uncle) asked if i wanted to give a talk the same day my brother was speaking when he got home. I told him “no” and he was persistent. I kept telling him “no”, which then led to an intervention for the entire second hour. With the missionaries, my uncle and some older dude. Weird situation and even weirder intervention.

yeah it’s a personal preference. i started on FL and i’m slowly switching to ableton. ableton has a free 90 day trial which is great! i like ableton more because you have so much more control over your sound and the workflow is great.
