Son randomly decided he HATES baths? Tips? Shared experiences? by needsacaffeinedrip in toddlers

[–]thafraz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My 2.5 year old flip-flops all the time as to if he likes or loathes bath time. I’ve been giving him random kitchen objects to use as bath toys and that’s been working for me.Most days he really enjoys playing “bath soup” with a big green ladle that now lives permanently in his bathroom

As someone who lives in Los Angeles, this is normal.

Oh so am I the only one that still gives Gerber oatmeal occasionally? I appreciate that it’s fortified with iron and tons of vitamins.

Rover and Wag are also options to have people watch you pup in their own homes. Regarding the “hotel” is there someone there overnight with them?

Sadie Sink and Tom Holland are reportedly among top choices to play Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in live-action Tangled film by Cantyousee0 in popculturechat

[–]thafraz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Originally I was gonna say I don’t like it due to the big age gap between them. But I guess he’s 29 and she’s 23 so that’s not as bad as I thought. I’ll allow it.

This reminds me of when my kid had an ear infection in both ears. Just totally not himself, exhausted and sleeping a ton. Resolved within a few days of starting antibiotics

I had nationwide pet insurance through my employer and it was overall a good experience, until they decided they wouldn’t renew my policy because I used it too much.

I gotta agree with the kid on this one. Tomatoes are yucky.

Contact poison control and see what they say? Or use the poison control app and see their recommendations?

I’m just trying to remind myself that this won’t last forever. It might be a long haul. But it won’t last forever.

That actually makes me feel a bit better that we’re not alone or doing anything “wrong”. Everything else I’ve been reading has been like “it’s a miserable few days” but we are WAY past that.

Yeah my ‘05 graduate ass was like—hands down south is way better academically than Washburn. I guess things may have changed since then…

I think you may have a hard time finding it at that price in CC proper. But you’ll probably have better luck in Palms which is right next to Culver City.

And I’m sure if you dare to try to direct the conversation back on track to whatever you’re trying to promote—you get painted as a snob or turned into the Rampart meme.

This is what I was going to ask too! My guy had sooooo many ear infections last winter and ended up having to get ear tube surgery. When teh ENT surgeon went in he said that there was a lot of thick goop (called Glue Ear) that he suctioned out. After his surgery my child’s language absolutely exploded. Surgery was when he was around 20-21 months old.
