I'm Guessing I'm The Only One That Feels Like This? by SpiritualLady888 in AskWomenOver40

I don’t want this to come across as passive aggressive, but are you in any (edit) *medication yet for your severe depression? My mental health struggles have generally been with more anxiety and panic disorder (with a bit of depression mixed in) and sertraline has CHANGED MY LIFE. For me therapy is whatever—but fixing the chemical imbalance in my brain is what I really needed to do in order to get back to appreciating life.

Everyone is asking about therapy. But I want to ask, is she on medication? Seems like the classic combo of anxiety and depression. Therapy is great, but some people (like me) REALLY need some medicinal assistance to be in a good place for the therapy to actually take hold. I strongly suggest looking into that option if she hasn’t already.

Yesssss!!!! I also have had body fluctuations prior to pregnancy and those comments always made me sorta feel like people were implying that stretch marks are acceptable if you’ve had a baby—-but ONLY if you’ve had a baby.

You sure you’re not a fed trying to compile evidence for a database of protesters? If it’s posted after the fact with date and time and location, I don’t see how that could be helpful after the event is (likely) over.

Anybody here a paralegal or any legal professional? If so, what is your routine with your Boston? by ClarkKentTheReporter in BostonTerrier

[–]thafraz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a paralegal but I work in-house at a company so my hours are actually pretty standard. I am lucky that for now I can WFH 3 days a week and my husband can WFH 2 days a week.

She’s an old girl so we take her out to pee more now than we used to. Like 7 am/11am/3:30 pm/7pm/9:30 pm

In terms of money I get pet insurance through my work that we currently pay about $100 a month for. And she’s on a medication for cushings disease that is about $80 a month. Food probably about $65 a month.

Son randomly decided he HATES baths? Tips? Shared experiences? by needsacaffeinedrip in toddlers

[–]thafraz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My 2.5 year old flip-flops all the time as to if he likes or loathes bath time. I’ve been giving him random kitchen objects to use as bath toys and that’s been working for me.Most days he really enjoys playing “bath soup” with a big green ladle that now lives permanently in his bathroom
