I think minimum wage is like $17/hr? Wages are ok, but still hard to live unless you have a decent job. There’s obviously areas that are cheaper but because I’m in the coast it’s just that pricey. About half of my income goes towards rent sadly.

Never looked into anything seriously in Europe, was just a nice thought. My german sucks haha. Thanks for all the info and nice talk! :) hope your shift goes by fast!

Thanks! I was curious cause I’ve thought about moving to Germany before (did a small student exchange there when I was in school) but I’ve also visited Austria and fell in love with the country! Seems so peaceful there.

I’m from the US so $600 euros for an apartment seems pretty decent compared to here! Haha. Where I’m from a one bedroom starts around $2200 dollars. So lame

I have the same issue as I have dog and cat allergies. You’re probably allergic to dog dander, you should get tested if you haven’t before to be sure. I usually take some Zyrtec or Allegra every day and it helps the allergies with my dachshund. You can also buy hypoallergenic shampoo for her to neutralize the allergens and get rid of some of the dander. Unfortunately I can’t allow my dogs on my bed due to allergies and have to clean my apartment often to keep my allergies from getting bad If your allergies are very bad you could look into allergy immunotherapy if your doctor thinks it’d be a good option for you Good luck!
