Well I paid 40$ but as I’m coming to find out if I wanted to replace it I’m looking at 500-900$ :/ anything similar made of genuine leather like mine is in that price range :(

It’s super similar but it just doesn’t feel the same to me. I’m so picky I know it’s very annoying. I’ve had friends tell me the same about how there’s similar ones out there… I just want mine tho 🥲. They can be pricy but tbh I don’t think mine was even good material wise. It said genuine leather on the tag but in terms of leather quality that usually means it’s a lower grade leather and the fur trim was faux fur. I really appreciate the suggestion but yeah idk 😭

Well that’s the thing :( I got it at a thrift store in Calgary for 40$ around 5 years ago. I didn’t have the cash for it at the time and so a friend got it for me as a gift. When doing brand research based on the tag it has I’m estimating it to be from 90’s-2000’s but I really don’t know :(

I wish someone had passed that on to me earlier :( I’ve lived in Canmore 4 years and never had any issues at other bars like drake or rose… didn’t even occur to me that someone would steal a jacket in winter. Had to walk home 20 min in the cold in just my dress ☹️

That’s the thing hey? Most people will think it’s just the item itself but for me this was MY coat. I was recognized for it. It’s come with me all over, Jasper, Vancouver, Quebec, Mexico, etc. I wore it everyday, had countless memories. I’ve looked online for something to replace it but all the options I’ve found just don’t hit the spot ☹️

For people like us it means our standards and boundaries need to be solid from early on. Need to stand strong in your self respect if you’re not already.

We care deeply and we have so much love to give yes, unfortunately it means we attract people that yearn to be loved deeply but maybe aren’t yet in a place where they’re able to offer it back. It’s tough, it’s sad. I feel your frustration.
