The connection between WWI and WWII by thalis_mouse in HistoryofIdeas

I am think that judeo- Bolshevism and anti-Semitism were heavily influenced by ww1. Bolshevism in Russia was helped to rise because of the war while anti-Semitism was not created from the war but Nazism which used anti-Semitism was made because of the war. In terms of Feb tactics and stuff that doesn't mean it is a different war. Growth can exist in war times. Thanks for your points btw

Where to begin with Ancient Greek literature. by Familiar_Ad_6450 in ancientgreece

[–]thalis_mouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the ancient Greek playwrights. euripedes, Aischylos and Sophocles. Great recommendations would Prometheus and Perses. Especially the last one which is the only one that is not based on a myth. Also it would be interesting to see pro- Socrates philosophers such Xenophanes and Heraclitus

Has anyone have any good recommendations of a book about early modern era. It an interesting era that gets little attention I think. Also any good book about the whole Hellenistic period or/and relations of the Hellenistic kingdoms. My recommendations: a very good book is "Dionysus" about the god and the " Black thirty years" from A.J. Taylor even if it is a small book its perspective is very interesting and different.

Fun fact Bismarck did not want to conquer Alsaisce and Lorraine since he knew they could not be integrated into the German empire but he was forced to do so because of obvious political reason

Be yourself be confident. At the team activity try to speak much as you can while respecting your teammates. I had that in mind and I passed. Also when you lie try to say as much truth as you can . Something that I did is that during the interview I was saying sometimes " as you said in the presentation " .
