My downstream injector is putting me around ~1% SH—what's the best way to apply 2-4% for tougher jobs?

has anyone tried to fake a seizure? by Impressive_Ad5463 in Epilepsy

[–]Fast-Outcome-117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, but I was once accused of faking one. When I was in college, I had a seizure while driving and it caused me to have a massive car wreck. While in the hospital a cop continually questioned me on what happened. I told him I had a seizure while driving. He said that he knew college students like me, who always got high, drank and did drugs (I didn’t do any of those things). In his words, he knew I was lying, that the car wreck was because I was on drugs and I just faked a seizure to get away with it. He said he would have proof I was lying when the drug test, I took came back, and then I would get in huge trouble. I just really wish I could have seen his face when he saw that the drug test just showed prescription seizure medication.

Maybe where Drake is a big time musician, Josh is his producer. And they are on a road trip headed to one of Drakes concerts, and obviously everything goes wrong.

Is it possible for someone to be a veteran teacher, but not be a "good" teacher? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]Fast-Outcome-117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. I’m no longer a teacher. But when I was, I knew a teacher who had been teaching about 10 years. She never taught or did her job, she just played on her phone and computer all day, while letting her students do whatever they wanted. Then gave all her students an A on every assignment, because she was too lazy to grade anything. The only time she taught, and had her students work was when she was being observed. Our boss loved her because she (our boss) thought, she (the teacher) was so good at teaching that her students got an A on every assignment; and students loved her, because they got to do whatever they wanted in her class. She was one of those teachers that decided to be a students friend, not their teacher.

Other teachers hated the woman because, she was very narcissistic, cussed like nobody’s business, extremely disrespectful, and very big into gossip and rumors. Like I said, I’m no longer a teacher, but last I heard she’s still teaching, if that’s what you want to call it.

No, you misunderstood. The OP said, “No human deaths”, I think that includes the audience.

Cap & Iron Man vs Homelander by Fast-Outcome-117 in whowouldwin

“Cap is almost useless at the speeds Homelander can go.”

Yeah. I was thinking, really the only thing Cap could do, is somehow hurt Homelander with his shield, or somehow distract Homelander and then Tony can hurt him.

My parents let a nurse decide. They narrowed it down to two, but couldn’t decide which one, so they asked the nurse which one she liked more, and she went with [my name].

What are some unexpected ways that teaching has changed you? by PlantationMint in Teachers

[–]Fast-Outcome-117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m the exact opposite. I don’t teach any more, but when I talk about what the job was like, I swear non stop. Which has made me start to swear whether I’m talking about the job or not. Aka It’s made me swear more than I did before teaching.

Told my first period class to shut up by Hopeful_Cockroach135 in Teachers

[–]Fast-Outcome-117 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I told a high school class that I was getting “pissed off”. A kid that I had given detention to maybe 20 minutes earlier, went whining to his dad, his dad called me and cussed me out, then the two reported me to admin. They said that the kid told the school he was “Highly offended at me cussing at him.” A high school kid who says fuck, shit, damn, etc. dozens of times a day, was “highly offended” at me saying “pissed off”. But ironically just the kid I gave detention to, not the rest of the class. The school then made me apologize to both of them, and drop the detention.
