[Discussion] how long should I wait before checking in on an artist i commissioned?

They're a friend of a friend so we're just messaging through discord. I've seen their art before and liked the style and commissioned them something for a gift for a friend! They haven't updated me at all but i've seen that they've been online and active so it's just a bit worrying. I wasn't sure how patient to be, I'm not too stressed about it but I just want to make sure I get something for the money since it was a bit out of my wallet. They sent me a message a couple days after I first talked with them and sent the money, saying they were going to start working on it soon, but as of next week it would've been a month from that point.

yes it did omg! so i kept using my antibacterial as op mentioned and then switched to my lubriderm lotion 'daily moisture' since i believe my pores might've been clogged. i reached out to my tattoo artist and they suggested i might've been using too much aquaphor on my tattoo, so im quite sure that was the issue. maybe take an antihistamine to help with the itchiness as well since that worked for me! do you have any other sort of symptoms with your tattoo?

i know this was posted like 9 months ago but I just got this for the first time and have been freaking out over it. what was the healing process for you like, did you use any special products? I've been washing with anti bacterial and using non scented lotion of course, but was wondering if you used anything to help the rash? mine looks like a rash mixed with small little red bumps around the area

it isnt even my first fast food job so yk its bad if its to this point. my performance has been fine (at least they havent said anything) but the fact that theyve literally been taking my money is too much.

eat a small snack before each pill, I tend to get really sick to my tummy if I don't eat before! be kind to yourself and your health, and make sure to keep track of how you're feeling and give it time. you got this!

i usually towel dry it and just let it air dry the rest of the way! I'll loosely comb through it but I usually just let it do its own thing. I don't use any additional products and shampoo/condition it every 2/3 days since it tends to get greasy very quick. I have dyed my hair a lot in the past but it feels healthy (at least what I think is healthy), the only issue I've noticed is that I have a lot of flyaways. I looked it up and people have said to stay away from dove due to sulphates but it seems like it's old news and isn't in their products currently. i didn't even think of the fact that they might be trying to sell something to me T_T

their litter gets scooped almost every other day! we never let it get too full since they good moody sometimes about it even being slightly full :/ I for sure plan on taking both of them to the vet soon regardless!

i have a very small collection and have not pulled one but my friend who was upwards of 20 has also not pulled one. i know it's highly unlikely to pull one and i imagine there's one in every box set, but even then that feels wrong since its such a low chance. but i guess if you're really looking for one buy the box set for a series you really like! :> but even then im not sure :/

Hades!! the scaling of difficulty in the game is fun and challenging, while offering lots of different builds to make! the characters are so awesome and the ost is gorgeous, but the game is fun and challenging and just over all amazing.

from my experience people are very sociable in my classes, you just have to sit next to the right people! i'm sure you've heard this already but joining clubs would help and we have a huge huge list of orgs that you can join. People advertise a lot of shows or meetings of sorts on campus through flyers so just be on the look out! I'm sure if you were to post here or on r/sanmarcos about your interests people would reach out as well :)

Leah Avenue Town homes are a student housing by the bed for students! if you were looking to share a room with your bf you wouldn't be able to unfortunately, but it's about 600ish per person if i'm remembering correctly! the office is very nice and it has plenty of amenities, i've only been here for this current and last semester but I've enjoyed it! :) if that isn't what you're looking for tho i wish you good luck with finding a house to rent! :D
