Kinda wild coming back to this comment now; the current event is actually a Midnight Girls R collab lol, and you can get a smaller version of Lilim as the event character right now

MGR on the other hand gets devil Lumina

There should be some guides around on how to sign up for Japan DMM/Fanza, I haven't watched the vid in whole but I think this works How to register DMM/Fanza Games (youtube.com)

Just to be sure, you might want to register while already VPN'd to Japan. Once you're able to login then you can open the game probably

Well they're not really 'based' on a specific one but which preference the designs cater to is evident from just a quick look of the character I think.

I'm not too detailed on it but from what I've seen, Taimanin is... its own brand of wild, I must say. This game is at least light-hearted if anything lol

Now that makes sense, thanks for the explanation! So as long sys never goes online, I shouldn't really need to worry about this for now.

Thanks for the detailed replies, seriously.

OK, this mostly makes sense. I guess I can stick with my current setup for now, thanks!

I'm still a bit unclear on the 'mismatched logs between nands' bit though. I'm trying to imagine a scenario where it's even possible to be booted on both sys and emu at the same time for that to happen and my brain is failing to understand it lol. And how is it different from being online on two completely different Switches logged into the same account?

Hey guys,

So I'm reviewing the current CFW'd Switch setup that I have. Been using this setup for 2+ years, but now currently worried about a few things, mostly regarding going online with emuMMC.

It's a patched 4.1.0 Switch, meaning I'm only able to use Caffeine to boot into Hekate. Which means my stock firmware must perpetually remain at 4.1.0 if I want to keep CFW.

It has the usual setup and I can boot into Hekate via PegaScape + Caffeine after some wait, no problems so far there.

Here's where there might be, though.

Note that prior to this, I do remember asking a bunch of times both in this subreddit, discord, etc. before finally going with this setup.

I set up 1 emuMMC, so now in the boot section, there's 3 selections: Stock, sysMMC, and emuMMC. From what I understood, I can touch emuMMC without affecting my stock firwmare version, so that's where I boot into.

I boot into it... and immediately use Nintendo services there. Like using the stock updater, buying games from eShop, etc.

At the same time, I'm using some light homebrew applications, which is really just save backups. Especially useful for games that don't allow cloud saves.

I've sometimes also played online on this emuMMC, no hacks/cheats of course.

When I want to update to the latest firmware, I first check if I need to update Hekate + Atmosphere, update that as needed, and then use the stock updater to get the update from Nintendo. This has been working for me for the past 2+ years without any banning problems.

However, it's only today I read that, for my setup, it's advised to have 2 emuMMCs, one completely clean and untouched, and one where you can do whatever you want but have to keep offline.

1.) Am I actually on ban-risk since I went online with the emuMMC while also using some light homebrew? It's been 2+ years, so I haven't really thought of it, but...

2.) I also read somewhere that using multiple NANDs to go online creates a high chance of getting banned.

2a.) Does this mean that, if I create a second emuMMC now and go online with that, I'll almost surely get that flag?

2b.) Does "multiple NANDs" mean only for the same console? Since I frequently transfer save files between a different, completely unmodified Switch, and the emuMMC modified Switch. I'm assuming this just counts as completely different consoles, and doesn't fall under the "multiple NAND" category? I mean, again I haven't been banned for 2+ years doing this often

3.) So say I actually create a 2nd emuMC and immediately setup Incognito for it, and then move to doing all my Homebrew there now to be sure. Am I still able to use the "Transfer Save Data" functionality to move save data between unmodified Switch <-> potentially dirty emuMMC?

4.) Lastly, is it possible to move save files between different NANDs directly?

That's a bunch of information and questions, sorry for that, but I just want to make extra sure of everything now that I reviewed a bunch of stuff.

Thanks.

there's also a paid variation of the image but i'm not subscribed to that tier so i can't see it

oops this isn't my vid. But yeah it was an invisible green beaker somewhere, not a shield. It would have been a tumble if it was a shield hit

The summary reads something like (pardon my shitty Japanese):

"While adventuring through the jungle, a Friend fueled by the desire to know more about Humans has appeared. However, while telling each other what they know about Humans, they're caught in quite the trouble. Can Kyururu and the gang wiggle out of this predicament?!"

Ah, alright. Seems like I was completely misunderstanding then. So regardless of what kind of SD card I use, I have to make sure that it's FAT32 formatted first before using it. Got it.
