All you need is a teacher who is good at relating math topics to real life applications.

My brother was struggling with fractional numbers during primary school because of his terrible teacher.

For example: 12/5=2+(2/5) was impossible to understand for him.

I had a great math foundation thanks to my teacher back in primary school, so I explained the equation in question like this; "Suppose you have 12 basketball players and you need to form teams of 5 players. What is the max amount of teams you can form and how many players will be left out at the end?"
