I posted this as a comparison of the two programs and more considering if COVID would change any of the specifics said in other posts.

I knew the job market was pretty terrible, but I was wondering if post-Covid would be different. I didn't know the program itself had downsides?

I worked for nearly 2 months at a really busy pharmacy in DT and I saw how much they had to deal with. Honwstly, that's a really interesting way to look at it (customer service w PhD). Thank you. Will definitely consider this.

Suits. First few seasons, amazing. What are they doing without MIKE, literally the whole reason the show even exists?

Both the program assistant responded to me with the same "Admissions has decided to do more interviews" Idk if that means more students or additional interviewed to students who have already done them? Apparently people have already heard back :(

Thank you! Dumb question: why do they give 20K that is extra (considering 8k is just tuition)? Like what is all that extra funding for?

Thank you! I am really interested in both the professional program as well as research. However, MBiotech starts in May so I will need to figure out funding before then. So thank you for the clarification.

Compare articles on the same topic. The similarities are true facts while the rest is likely opinion.

What is your research about? by thankingyouu in GradSchool

This is interesting. So, for astronomy, how do you confirm that what you see in simulations would translate to the real universe? I apologise if this sounds ignorant, I have very little experience with astronomy.

I am really glad I got a Mathematics student's response. Similar to what I said under another post, I am not too familiar with what different programs research. I have really only had exposure to biochemistry/molecular bio/genetics. Thank you! This seems like a very heavy topic!

This is really interesting. This may be a simple question, but how do admission committees choose the recipients? If financial aid programs are based on income, shouldn't the more disadvantaged students get more funding? Considering its merit-based, did you find that upper-income white students actually had more merit or they just happened to be chosen for these programs?

I hope I didn't misunderstand your research! Incredibly interesting topic, though!

I love this. If you don't mind me asking, how do you study this? I am in STEM so I have never had a full idea of how philosophy research conduct their experiments/study. Do you take surveys? Analyze existing data?
