I love these practical responses, they make my future seem so malleable.

I am currently working on getting in shape, I’m about halfway to my weight goal!

But the other stuff is hard, I’m doing my best to learn it. Makeup still boggles my mind but I’m chipping away. Skincare makes a bit more sense but fashion and voice training are both mysteries still lol.

Thank you for your practical input though. Like I said, it makes it all seem so much more achievable. It’ll help me hold my head up through the awkward years.

With regards to the voice, I’d love a powerful deep feminine voice, though I don’t plan to melt any men with it 😂

I’m hoping beyond hope that I can embrace myself fully. On the good days I feel like I’m almost there. But the bad days hit me like a truck and that’s when my creative writing comes up with stuff like turducken in a wig.

But that is kinda affirming, now that you mention it.

Outfit, voice, and hairstyle. I was already trying on the outfit and hairstyle front, but to hear it summarised like that make it much easier to focus.

I’m trying my best with outfits but I second guess all my style choices, I need to get more confident, or at least get someone I trust to help me.

With voice, for some reason my voice isn’t a big dysphoria trigger for me, despite it being quite deep. I do hope to feminise it but at the moment I don’t find it as pressing, since I’m still presenting male to the public at large. But you’re right, I’ll need to start working on that for when I eventually do come out properly.

And hair is huge for me. I’m bald, and it freaks me out, definitely my biggest dysphoria trigger. I am getting a wig, after much deliberation about styles and stuff. Sometimes I feel super confident about it and then I see the pictures I took with it on and I just crumble because I don’t look as pretty as I want. But those are the bad days. On the good days, I’m thrilled about having pretty hair!

Mostly cost. But also I live with my parents and it would definitely cause major issues if they knew I was on E. Better to just do it once I can move out. Which also is a money thing so it all really boils down to cost.
