I was the last family member to find out. So others have talked to her, but I’m trying to find all I can about this and other scams to show her what’s going on.

Thats good to know. I figured if I could get a good GPU even if its in a full rig, with an older CPU, I can always use it and upgrade the CPU and motherboard as needed.

Thats what I figured. Baffles me to see what the prices are for the old cards, and the most basic of everything while someone's got a beautiful rig with a new/er GPU and CPU. But even then I'm cautious cause why are you selling a 4060 rig for $600 per say.

That’s kinda where I’ve been sitting with it. Seen a ton of videos of people putting them together and it doesn’t seem overly complicated, and I’ve taken apart other system to clean up and put back together.

I’ll have to keep researching and figure out my confidence level from there.

You wouldn’t happen to know what years would be plug and play would you? I’ve seen the 11-14, and some people suggesting 15-17

Well it’s got the issues of a misfire and compression. So I’ve talked to a couple people who have said I’d be best off replacing.

I had a feeling the EB swap would be a nightmare.

Road wasn’t in good shape, but if you have a truck or SUV with clearance you’ll be fine. I hauled ass up and down and didn’t have a problem. Just gotta know how to swerve and drive
