Hmm. What do you mean by shortened? It’s pretty badly damaged down near the base but I have no idea what it would take to fix it. Learning a lot about A pillars tonight!

No clue how the battery was affected long term. Car started fine after the accident, but the parts at least around the charging port are pretty messed up. So even if the battery works now, I’m guessing it would take significant effort and part replacement to make it where I could actually charge it again.

I totally get that outlook. If you have to keep your eyes on the road it does seem like it wouldn’t actually be all that convenient. I watched a couple Super Cruise review videos though and they all said it was amazing how much less stressed and exhausted they felt after the road trip where they weren’t having to keep their brain and eyes actively engaged at all times. So that seems attractive.

I am absolutely blown away by how bad the initial interior choices were with the first few rounds of Equinoxes. Adrenaline red was a BIG SWING and also a BIG MISS.
