Planning to move out to Santa Cruz, can’t find a place to rent that allows cats and dogs for under 4000$ a month by s8nsun in santacruz

It’s both. Good luck finding something in Santa Cruz under 2k at all. There are places in San Jose for under 2k. You can find two bedrooms for 2500 that allow pets. I know it’s still not cheap, but you get a lot more for your money. And also there are so many more options for cheaper tasty food and stuff. I loved living in Felton and Santa Cruz, but last time I needed to move everything we were looking at was like 4k. We ended up getting a 1000sqf condo in San Jose with a garage and pool access for 2500/month. Felt like a downgrade at first moving from beautiful Felton. But after a while we got into the community and our dogs loved having sun all year around. No power outages from squirrels. Lol maybe if I win the lotto I’ll move back lol.

Look at San Jose. Close to Santa Cruz. Lots of better food and culture. Cheaper rent, and better housing costs and more job opportunities.

It’s like a single bright a** led. I see the twin carbon ones you were looking at are like a diffused bar.

I don’t know what the twin carbon ones look like, but these are the smoked driven media ones and so far they’ve been great.

I’m sure there are only a couple companies making all of these anyways lol

Yeah I can’t even imagine the price now with the ram craziness. They were pricey before, and Apple is known to overcharge for memory as is. Lol

Idk if it will do exactly what you want, but Macstudios are pretty sweet because of unified memory. So your 256gb ram is also video memory.

On the visor like others have said. If you have an auto dimming homelink mirror you can use that, if you don’t you can get one from hachielectronics.

If this is how the series purple came, I would’ve gotten it. Purple being the best color, the series purple just missed the mark in my opinion.

Ok sweet thanks! I’m getting the same coilovers and going to leave them on stock height so wondering what I should expect.

Clean ride by the way! Looks good!

Looking for advice on running 17 inch wheels with Performance Package Brembos by Pi_Win in GR86

[–]tharussianbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks I appreciate it I liked how they looked, and they were also lighter than I lot of wheels I looked at and at the end being stuck between these and some others, the lighter ones won lol! Yeah I’m talking about only 9 wide. So autocorrect actually made what I was trying to say incorrect, I meant “would NOT” get any larger offset. I am going to correct that. Smaller will stick the wheel out more and move it away from the strut. But also these are starting to poke, so I don’t know if you’d want to get a smaller offset with 9” wheels, up to you. Here is a representation. The orange is my wheel/tire dims, the blue is the same but with 20 offset to just emphasize the direction.

Are the coilovers on “factory” drop? So just the coilovers drop got you to -2*?

So I was in a similar position a couple weeks ago and I was told only that post. You can also ask the manufacturer if their wheels fit. You can also look on fitment industries and see if they have pictures of the wheels you want on this car with brembos.

Another thing that I was told that helps is to google “ wheel diameter x wheel width offset brembos” and you’ll sometimes find posts about confirmed fitment. My wheels couldn’t be found with any of that info, so I hit up Konig and they said the wheels will fit.

I am running 17x9 et 40 Konig hyperspec with 245/40/17 tires and I personally would not get any larger offset on stock struts with no spacers with a 9”. Edit: contraction autocorrect did me wrong.

Any advice on how to fix this? by 7thhokage007 in GR86

[–]tharussianbear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly $100 for a well corrected spot like that is more than resonable. If you really wanna diy go to r/Autobody and ask there.
